Found Safe KY - Zachary Jununten, 14, Laurel County, 30 March 2017

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The search is on for a missing 14-year old boy in Laurel County.

The Sheriff’s Office says Zachary Jununten is a suspected runaway.

He was last seen on Hopkins Cemetery Road, approximately six miles south of London around 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017. He apparently left on foot, according to investigators.

Police suspect Zachary Jununten, 14, may be a runaway. He was last seen on Hopkins Cemetery Road south of London at around 1 Thursday afternoon. Police believe he left on foot.

Zachary has a light complexion, blue eyes and brown hair. He is 5’2” tall and weighs 155 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white and blue striped button-up shirt and blue jeans.

Deputies with the Laurel County Sheriff's Department say a missing teen was found safe Saturday night.

They were searching for Zachary Jununten, 14. He was last seen on Hopkins Cemetery Road south of London around 1 p.m. Thursday.


On Saturday evening, deputies said Jununten was found safe by social services in Whitley County.
