Kyle Clifford: Wanted in connection with triple murder in Bushey, 3 women murdered in home, 9th July 2024 *arrest*

Did anyone watch this? No access outside UK (The Crossbow Murders.)
The Hunt family seemed like such a lovely, happy family. Even though the girls were young adults they still chose to holiday as a family as they all got on well. Two of them lived at home (not sure about the third daughter) and Louise ran her business from home.
I had no idea Kyle kept Louise alive for 2 hours before killing her. It's so awful.

Warning: Livestream contains distressing contentCrossbow killer Kyle Clifford has been handed three whole life orders at his sentencing for the murders of his ex-girlfriend, her sister and her mother.Clifford, 26, previously pleaded guilty to murdering his former girlfriend Louise Hunt, her mother Carol and her sister Hannah at their home in Bushey, Hertfordshire, on July 9 last year.On Thursday, he was found guilty of rape following a four-day trial.''

BBC racing commentator John Hunt, whose wife and two of his daughters were murdered last July, describes in an emotional first interview the legacy of love they left behind.
It was this, John and his daughter Amy tell the BBC, that had helped sustain them through their trauma and grief.
Carol, Louise and Hannah remained such a constant presence in their lives that he still talks to them every day, almost a year on from their deaths, John says.
"From the moment I wake up, I say good morning to each of them," he says.
"Sometimes I say out loud to Hannah and Louise, 'girls, sorry I can't be with you, I'm with your mum at the moment'. As I close my eyes at night, I chat to them as well. They're very close to me all the time."
John and Amy say they took the decision to talk publicly now because they did not want their loved ones to be defined by their deaths. They also feel much of the initial reporting after the murders was inaccurate and it added to their pain.

"He told how Hannah had saved his life
by sending a text to her boyfriend as she was dying, which alerted the police.

John believes Clifford intended to murder him too.

'I get to live.
Hannah gave me that,
and I've got to treat it as a gift from her',
he said.

'Police officers of 30 years' experience had their breath taken away
by how brave she was,
how she was able to think so clearly in that moment,
to know what she needed to do',
her father said.

'That's what I believe.
I have said many, many times, her doing that has given me life.
And I've used that to re-ground myself on a daily basis'."

Such a brave brave man. What a lovely family.

I think John would've beaten Clifford to death if he'd arrived just before he left. Clifford was clearly wanting to get out with those texts sent to understand when his racing comms shift would finish. Although I'm guessing he still had a crossbow.

Fair play to him giving an interview. All I think about is the immediate devastation he'd have discovered arriving back and immediately seeing his Wife dead and then his Daughters a few seconds later. How on earth do you mentally cope with that?

Huge credit he's trying to get on with his life and career (in the public domain) as best he can.

Think it was the police who would have actually discovered them, alerted by one of the victims.

He and Amy recall misinformation on news sites, including the claim that John had been the one to discover his wife and daughters' bodies in their home.

Looking at the timeline below it seems he waited around for over two hours after his initial attack on Louise and making the enquiry about when her father would be home, so it looks to me that he was waiting for John and that that plan was derailed when Hannah came home, and then so bravely did what she did.

Her gift to her father as he put it, I got a lump in my throat when I saw that.

  • 16:12: Louise enters the house, where Clifford is waiting. Using duct tape, he restrains and rapes her. He then texts John using Louise's phone to ask when he will be home
  • 18:50: Clifford shoots Louise with the crossbow around the time Hannah arrives home. Hannah, unware of what has happened, enters and goes upstairs
  • 18:52: Hannah texts her partner, telling him to call police. Two minutes later, Clifford shoots her and leaves with the crossbow. Fatally injured, Hannah calls 999 but dies shortly after
  • 19:10: Emergency services arrive at the house.

And yes he did still have the crossbow, was on cctv carrying it under a cloth back to the car.

That is so common and so infuriating, the rush of MSM to print before verifying the facts

John Hunt says in the interview (which has just aired here, if you're not in the UK) that he believes Clifford was intending to wait for him and that Hannah 'gave him life' because Clifford realised that 'the clock was ticking'. It's an incredible interview in its entirety, Two people who have dealt/are dealing with the most terrible tragedy, who make no bones that they are not in a forgiving frame of mind and yet who maintain their grace and composure throughout.

Further to the Hunt interview... John and Amy explained how hard it was to read details in MSM whiich had not been made clear to them. They complained to the CPS about the release of such details and the CPS issued a statement apologising.

"When they spoke to the CPS about their concerns, they were given a complaint form and told to return it within 28 working days - "as if we'd had our bike stolen"."

Yes, am in the UK and I saw it. I was trying to make the point that I believe Clifford was indeed waiting for John Hunt, in response to poster who seemed to think the opposite ("Clifford was clearly wanting to get out with those texts sent to understand when his racing comms shift would finish.")

Goodness me, you could understand why they were so hurt and angry can't you!
I'm not suggesting they should have had preferential treatment due to his celebrity status but handed forms and a 28 day return date, in a tri murder case involving someone in the public eye, you'd have thought the CPS would want this clearing up sharpish to limit backlash on them wouldn't you!?
