Arrest made.

Levi Kevin Jones.
No priors.
Not sure if grandson or step-grandson ?
I.e., Was he a child of one of the adult children from a previous relationship and didn't 'grow up' or have a close relationship with the Moores ?

My guess is a financial motive and he wanted their cash and/or credit/debit cards.
What an idiot, like those can't be traced --and lead directly back to you !!
Was it worth it, Levi ? 🤬

Again , rest gently, Larry and Sandra.
Justice is coming -- may it be swift and harsh.
Imagine living to their ripe old age, and meeting such a fate.
Nauseating.
Yes, it makes me furious !
Everyone has spoken well of them and I believe they were kind to others, and had no enemies ... except the day this perp came to their house.
Imo.

Unfortunately, this is happening more often. No surprise here.

So sad, but pretty much what I thought it was going to be.
A young family member with a drug problem or just feeling entitled.

Oh ... my ... this is so incredibly sad.
May this suddenly fractured family find healing through their faith.
Godspeed Larry and Sandra, you are missed, may you Rest In Peace.

You stabbed and strangled your kind, generous, godly grand parents.
You must be a complete and utter deadsh*t.

My own grand parents would be described as kind, generous and godly. They meant the world to me.
I respected, loved, adored them both. I so much wish that they were still alive. Gosh I miss them.

I can’t believe at 19 there weren’t signs that something off with this kid.
LE knew from the beginning this was targeted.
Bet they had him under surveillance from day one.
Wonder where he was when they arrested him.

Me too. I would give everything I have to get my grandparents back for even a day.

I wonder why they aren't releasing the motive for this horrendous crime.

I can’t imagine a motive other than he needed money, but why would LE care if that came out? It seems like such a common motive. It’s weird.

I'd heard from employees of a few local businesses that officers came to see who'd used the cards of the deceased and ATM footage was taken from the uses
You turned out to be right about the grandson part! I don't know if it's a step or by blood. So sad!

The Moore's son-in-law, Kevin Jones, said that the 'whole family is devastated.'

'Why anyone would hurt these two precious people is beyond imagination. My mother-in-law and father-in-law were the most precious people God ever created. Absolutely heartbroken,' he wrote on Facebook.

According to Jones, Larry was an avid fisherman who would often tell stories of fishing trips with his father, Furman Moore, and his brother, Ricky, when they were young.

'He and his brother Ricky were always so kind to let me tag along when I came into the family....He made such a huge impact on my life and showed me true love, Christ-like love. He and Sandra always treated me like I really mattered, as though I had always been part of the family,' Jones wrote.
