It's a really strange missing child presumed dead case @UK Girl . Either grandmother is lying or the mum is lying
When I said I presume kyran wasn't in his mother's care . It was more of a question than a statement I'm flummoxed

I just can't get my head around it at all and was hoping some of the posters on WS might have had more information.
Even the appeal by the irish police was strange . One would wonder why they think kyran is dead and why is it not being stated whose care he was in .
On one hand msm reports are saying he was in the grandmothers on 28th of August and then saying he was most likely dead before that date

Can you make heads or tails of it or shed some light on the case ?

I personally think the grandmother was lieing and the poor child has been dead some time

It did cross my mind whether Kyrans Mum was or previously a sex worker. Would explain the ‘number of men’ who came forward to eliminate themselves.
Investigators are digging in different locations.
Agree would like to get some clarity on this confusing case.

The other issue is IF Kyran really was alive that night at his grans and went on holiday with his mum the next day why was he previously unable to attend school and why was another boy used for visits by the social workers?

I'm assuming irish and uk police checked ferries and airports to see who the mother boarded with so have eliminated the possibility of kyran being in the uk .

Like you I suspected DD may have been a sex worker or addict or prehaps had numerous relationships with hardly any time between breakup and next one .

The police are saying it could have been accidental but if it was why conceal it .accidental death occurs all the time and coroner would be able to tell this in a post mortem.

I wonder why there is so little detail . SM is rife with rumour and accusations but if it is being reported that mother is distraught. Why is it not being reported whose care kyran was in or if he was in DDs care at all.

I think this is the part people don't understand. You would expect grandmother and DD to be brought in and formally questioned

And of course the usual storyline child was on SS files . Are they going to dig grandmothers garden I wonder .

It's a bit iffy too that police were contacted by tulsa (irish SS) on 26th of August and DD fled on 28th of August and grandmother reports both missing on 28th . And DD has 2 other kids allegedly who were in bed in granny's
And irish police have said the suspect is an extremely dangerous male .how do they know this if DD knows nothing ?

I am at a loss tbh considering she went back to Ireland and her child is missing presumed dead how she is allowed to travel where the heck she wants. She should be behind bars IMO. Not just that they are out in the freezing cold trying to find her son. Shouldn't she be there in case they find him?

I seen an article in the irish Times newspaper stating garda are thinking of invoking child protection laws but its behind a paywall . Rollercoaster.ie article link also mentions this .

Firstly "thinking of " should not be the headline it should state "are " . Its absurd to think they haven't already done this and if kyran was not under any child protection order does that mean he was living with dayla ?? But I see she is claiming she fled ireland because she was beaten up and was in fear for her life . Why is this woman not pleading to find her son ?? Was kyran killed the day she was beaten up ??

I think the problem with this case is the reporting in msm . It is too elusive. Even the results of the dig are not being reported for operational reasons surely if they found nothing that would be said .

Reports of garda having 2 to 3 people in their sights and these will only be arrested if a body is found . Like what if a body is not found .what then ?
A child has gone missing. What more evidence is needed to arrest the person who had the child in their care . I don't understand. This is not an adult that has gone missing whereby an investigation can't move forward till a body is found . Surely if they believe he is dead they have some evidence of foul play .

In the articles it states kyran is missing 3 months but suspected dead for 2 years like what the hell how confusing is that . Obviously I know it means he was reported missing 3 months ago but why that's even being considered in the timeline is just muddying the waters . He is either presumed dead or he is presumed to have been alive up until 28th of August. It can't be both imo . That needs to be clearer if they want the public to help

Agree and how difficult can it be for the authorities to check who the child support payments were made to and until what date?
If the so called Mother fled for her life a normal mother’s instinct would be to protect their children not abandon them. I am wondering are there other children? Where are they and are they safe?
