A documentary on the case, called The Lost Boy by the investigative BBC Spotlight team, is set to be screened tonight.

Gallagher told Spotlight: “The case is utterly horrifying. This is a child who’s completely vanished off the face of the planet.

“Kyran’s case is subject to An Garda Síochána investigation and we need to understand what went wrong in this situation.”

However contradictory information Tusla stated in this programme that they did not receive any referral for Kyran. So what Tusla reports are Gardai seeking?
Also very concerned that the mother and her two other children are still missing.
If Grandmother has nothing to hide why won’t she open her door and speak to help solve the mystery.
Surely Mum could be arrested for fraud claiming benefits for an absent child and also using a decoy child to get her in for questioning.

A woman has been arrested in connection with the murder of missing eight-year-old schoolboy Kyran Durnin.

The woman, who is believed to be in her 20s, was arrested today and is being detained at a garda station in the northeast of the country under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

She can be questioned for up to 24 hours.

I honestly don't think this person would have been arrested today if it were not for this being aired tonight . 24 wow she would have been very young when she had Kyran. I’m sure one of the posts said he has an older sister too. Not that this explains the disappearance. Guard who spoke during the Spotlight episode said he’d never seen anything like it in 40 years of policing.
Hope they will get to the truth now.
