Nana Rhonda back on FB . She lied about him being there in summer and the night of them going missing. False report. So either way she's guilty of a lot . Dad was getting custody of kyran 1st Sept hence garda forced Rhonda to report them missing the 25th and 28th of Aug they done 2 call outs looking for them 2 her house so 2nd call out they made Rhonda report them missing and the story went from there Rhonda had daylas 2 little girls in her care all summer until September they were taken off her once her lies unravelled and her youngest daughter daylas sister layla. She's in psychiatric care now apparently traumatised. Rhonda has 6 kids total and bad relationships with all her kids and no contact for years until dayla rocked up Jan 24 to March 2024 I feel and most feel she helped dayla or believed dayla or was soft on her due to her wanting a relationship with one of her grown older kids , Rhonda only ever met kyran a handful of times and never seen him since he was 2yrs old

We approached Dayla to ask her if she wanted to say anything to say about Kyran and the investigation, given the huge public interest and concern over how Kyran slipped through the net.

She declined to answer our questions but told us: “I’d appreciate it if you would go away from me. Thank you.”

We also approached Kyran’s maternal grandmother Rhona Byrne earlier this year asking if she wished to speak about her grandson and the murder investigation.

Rhona - who was reportedly recorded on tape last year saying she last saw the youngster alive on August 28 - told our reporter ‘Go away’ when asked if she wished to speak about the search for Kyran and if she had anything to say in regards to the murder probe.

Missing Kyran Durnin should be celebrating his 9th birthday today

Schoolboy Kyran was just six years of age when he was last seen alive in June 2022 and his disappearance and whereabouts continues to remain a mystery, shocking the nation.

Hopefully those arrests will be sooner rather than later . Why is it taking so long to charge dd and rtb with misleading an investigation, false alibi etc . As long as they are free to go about their business there is no incentive to speak up about where kyran is . Imo this is another failure to be added to the long list of failures regarding this poor child

Anyone know why Daylas sister is in psychiatric care home . Or is this just a rumour on fb and the likes from the huns

And the woman responsible for all of the above is as free as a bird. That’s some mess she has left behind before boarding the ferry for a new life abroad.

I actually cannot believe she is still a free woman . Surely a charge of neglecting to imform authorities that kyran had gone missing or if she had knowledge that he came to harm warrants an arrest and charge .

The only reason I can see why this has not happened is tulsa and garda cannot prove kyran was actually in her care at the time . It can't be that LE are waiting to bring a bigger charge of murder .

What about presenting a child that wasn't kyran to tulsa and social workers ,does that not come with charges even if its only false pretences and I can't think of the term in law but fooling authorities


I know if you are claiming benefits in someone else's name you can be charged in ireland so why not when it concerns a child .

I just cannot get my head around it from the information available

If social media reports are true and the father was awarded custody and the mother did not show , is a bench warrant not issued by the judge and dayla is hauled before the courts for her account of why she failed to reply to the summons .

There is plenty of ways to skin a cat as the old saying goes

Why is she not been done for contempt of court when she didn't hand over her baby to his Dad?

I honestly cannot believe certain people are still free to live their lives as they please . There has to be more people that know what happened and where this little boy is other than these two horrible women

Why are people not speaking out even anonymously. Surely if the culprit was AM with him out of the equation and deceased it would have brought people in the know forward by now

As for tulsa , garda and the wider community they really are continuing to let this child down .

If the tactic by garda is to allow the mother her freedom in the hope she leads them to kyran or decides to speak up , imo that ship has long since sailed .

So what is it that prevents garda arresting her on charges that a blind man can see are present .

Can anyone in ireland make a child disappear and get away with it as long as they say nothing and carry on with their life's as if the child never existed ???

There is violations that this woman has committed that even without a body and murder charge ,she can be brought before the courts for and being held accountable for the very least failing to declare the where abouts of a child under your care .

And for that matter Rhonda has clearly falsified a missing child report

The only reason I can think of is tulsa lost the files and don't know if kyran was actually under her guardianship or in foster care

It is unbelievable that the two main suspects can literally get away with murder. It now transpires that Maguire is totally innocent and his children are now orphans all because of Dayla Durnin and her mother.

I guess the police have reasons as to why they think he was not involved.
