For those of you who may not know.

There was a poster named joshie's mom on here who claimed to be Desiree's former neighbor. She said all kinds of negative things about Desiree.

The woman Kate Parker is discussed on WS. She has been arrested for the medical abuse of her children and has over $1,000,000 in bond money needed to be released.

So if you bought any of the stuff she was saying about Desiree, you may want to rethink it

Wow. Bizarre. This lady? http://koin.com/2014/04/03/mother-accused-medical-child-abuse-expected-court/.

But how do we know she's the same poster?

Please discuss the Parker case here: Mother of 8 arrested for "medical child abuse" - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community

And yes, she claimed to know Desiree. While we know she lives in the same town, whether she really knew Desiree or not hasn't been proven, so anything she posted about this case can be filed in the Rumor Bin.

Awhile ago, there was talk of a janitor who left Skyline school in the weeks/months before Kyron disappeared. Does anyone remember the details? Reason I ask is that there is serious concern about a janitor's inappropriate behavior towards boys at another Portland public school AND this janitor has the same name as the alleged janitor who left Skyline. Any information anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

This is a stunning development if true.

CASH, I vaguely recall some discussion of a janitor. Are you referring to the janitor with initials BT or SM? If so I recall having read about him at another forum. I believe TOS may prevent me from linking to that forum. But I was able to easily relocate those discussions by googling Kyron Horman janitor and the initials BT and/or SM.

I hope that helps.

And yes, if he is now suspected of inappropriate behavior towards boys/students that would be one heck of a development.

was able to find this article which mentions janitors in regards to searching that was taking place

As the investigation launched, custodians SM from Lewis Elementary School (previously at Skyline) and Skyline custodian BT worked 12-hour shifts to cover the school's operational needs.

Central departments also jumped in starting the evening of June 4 as staff members returned to work to provide information and support to authorities searching for Kyron.

http://www.pps.k12.or.us/news/3919.htm

[just to be on the safe side I replaced the two janitors' names from the article snip with their initials]

But this will give any sleuths interested in looking for further mention of the janitors in the MSM in regards to the search for Kyron a starting point.

ETA here is the WS thread regarding Skyline in general. I found some photos and mention of janitorial staff and other staff in this thread. [ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106904"]Skyline Elementary School - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community[/ame]

Cash, how did you learn this information? Has it been in any of the Portland media?

IIRC....all the staff members at Skyline were heavily investigated at the time of Kyron's disappearance, including all the janitors and Kyron's teacher. I'm not sure if former employees were looked at or not, but usually LE looks at anyone who had prior access to a building when something goes wrong, even if they are no longer working there.

We’re a little shy of 4 years into this mystery. An eternity. And Kyron is still missing.

IMO, the upcoming “custody battle” will reveal ‘state-of-mind’ evidence critical to WHATEVER the LEOs already have in their circumstantial evidence backpack.

I have always found the ‘number of years’ cited (below) … interesting.

May 17, 2011 - The father of Kyron Horman warns the case for his missing young son may drag on for two, three or even four years. ... If there is no major break in the case, this will be a marathon, not a sprint, according to Kaine Horman.

www.kgw.com/.../Kaine-Horman-still-waiting-for-break-in-Kyron

Here’s the deal … I did some extensive research on the State of Oregon’s ‘presumed dead’ statutes. In many states, 7 years (for an adult) is the norm. However, the years-missing in Oregon is apparently flexible. Declaring “someone” deceased is not, at all, SET.

Not going to link to all the sites I’ve found. Apparently anything, on a sliding scale, from 1 year to 5 years is A-OK with Oregon. (My take.)

Point being:

IMO, once the custody ‘hoo haw’ is completed; once the divorce is final … Kyron will be proclaimed dead. Hate to say it.

But, as a result? Let the dominoes fall.

This is not new news. It was reported by a teacher and quickly shushed by the school that Ky left the building with a man to assist him to take something to that man's truck on that morning. LE focused, however on trying to tie TMH to said man. LE needs to go back and rethink their strategy. On other forums this story is well known. MOO

Yes, I remember this. It's one of the reasons I'm fence sitting about TH. The narrative for that morning, as we know it, raises a lot of questions for me.

It's likely that LE have more info about the morning, and thus, they are focusing on TH with good reason. But I still wonder. There have been other cases where the stepparent looked very suspicious, but ended up being uninvolved. So until we have more info, here I sit. :fence:

I would really like to see the source for this information.

I find it impossible to believe that Desiree and her LE husband would ignore this.

So sources please

I think I said MOO. Don't need a source for that. This happened early on in the investigation.

Miss J- I well remember the original 'reports' about Kyron assisting the man. My question for CASH was in regard to a "janitor's inappropriate behavior" at another Portland school. If that is something recent that has actually occurred and not just a rumor like the story from years ago, I/we would like to know what Cash's source for the story is. Otherwise, we are either speculating about something that hasn't happened, or we are uninformed about something which, if true, is potentially explosive. Once again, I call upon CASH to tell us where this information is coming from.

According to the most current information I've seen, the only who states TH wasn't the last person to see Kyron is TH's attorney. If there is another report out there that says someone else saw him, please share the link.

"It's not true," Houze said of the claims Terri Horman was the last person to see Kyron that day. "We have witnesses who will say, in fact, they know facts first-hand that demonstrate that is not true."
