I honestly don't know the answer. Anyone else?
If you are referring to TH, she got a ticket for burning lawn refuse--leaves probably--in her backyard which is illegal in Portland.

He and J are NOT close. They have not seen each other in years. And his parents paid for Terri's education. Right before she dumped their son and hit him up for child support.
LOL... W1. Have you seen how horrible I am at articulating my point!! Not a chance. :blushing:
Really? Why not? Would you say a woman wouldn't hold a good job like that without a man in her life?
Single parents hold "jobs like that" without a significant other all over this country.
haha...I like W1I will em her. "My friend Jade wants to know wth you didn't quote the part about Terri being hysterical because she thinks you are seriously guilty of biased reporting against Terri...oh yeah, Kaine cried in quotes, but when it comes to Terri, her hysteria is just the tag end to the sentence about KH's pain. And it's not even clear that it's her who was hysterical. Jade wants to see "terri was hysterical" in quotes
lololol. Perfect. :blowkiss:

I respectfully disagree with the first part of your post( and do find find the second portion poignant and having special meaning for you all)You get the appointment with the specialist when you can. He was not in danger, it was a suggestion by his regular doctor, not a diagnosis, a referral.
Also, the learning to sign language, my daughter and I had our own special language for times of distress that no one else knew. Just us, we still use it as endearing.
for the record...the author has confirmed in an e-mail to me that it was TH who J said was hysterical. Not that ya'll doubted it. Hmmm....
Richard Ecker said he paid for her education, which remains a sore point for his parents.
Wasn't Richard the husband? Not the father-in-law?
I'm sorry to hear he and J are no longer close.
Alas the article we knew was coming. Sigh.
Wonder why they keep printing this stuff. Nothing bad here, just the way it is presented, as usual. Kaine's money, all husbands say that, even very, very wealthy ones. (I have to hear about it every day.) Bookshelf moved, probably a small one, but needed to be moved to clean behind or arrange some things. Sub teaching moved stuff, threw something out, probably threw out worthless stuff, maybe even old snack bars, old scrap paper. Teen J went away b/c he ultimately wanted to, didn't want to be there during the stress and fussing. A few off the cuff comments, probably said in the heat of whatever moment was going on. Keep moving folks, nothing to see here.
Just sigh.
Why wasn't what he said about his mother (Terri) quotable? I don't get it. The story was about Terri, not Kaine. Kaine's response gets put in quotes but his mom's (the suspected kidnapper/whatever) doesn't and it's an article about her? :waitasec:
ETA: From article: "I've never seen Kaine cry until Kyron went missing," J said, adding that his mother was hysterical.
Me: Oh and by the way J also said his mom was hysterical. WHATTT
Interesting. Not that way where I live. I believe it's 30 % for the first child, and then I don't know how the percentages go.
Perhaps you are thinking of custody. If it's 50/50, nobody pays.
But otherwise, it's strictly percentage of income.
Who is they? Not Kaine. Not Desiree. Not Tony. Funny how the ONLY person aware of this supposed condition is Terri. Funny how she is the ONLY person aware of the suspected "autism." (according to today's article.) Sounds to me like she was pulling stuff out of her hiney as a cya move. And then she couldn't even decide which ailment he was supposedly afflicted with.
So again, who is "they?" AFAIK, he was never diagnosed by a professional. Just Terri's do-it-yourself childhood brain issue diagnosis kit.

*And the comment about the boat...what money was he planning on using for that? Was it part of the settlement from Chubby's or the car accident that Terri had said she'd save for Jxxxx to use for college? That would rub me the wrong way too. A BOAT?? Please. Another thing where we are not getting the whole story. If this is the worst stuff ex-in-laws can come up with, then I hope LE has other options. They sounded so ungrateful when it seemed like Terri was trying to do nice things. Makes me love my wonderful MIL even more!
The quote sounds like the husband paid for Terri's education - they refer to hubby as Chuck so I don't know for sure who Richard is. Confusing once again! moo
thanks for writing.. I was going to!
That was driving me nuts for no reason.
Read the story again. It was not her husband who was buying the boat. It was her husband's father. Why in the world would it be Terri's business how her father in law spends his money? That is what's so insulting. That she fully expected her in-laws to give all their money to this boy they were not even related to! That speaks volumes.
The author of the article (Lynne Terry) is the same person that wrote the article about her interview with Terri's mother (CM) and reported what CM told her as fact.
Lynne Terry is also a member of the Terri's support page on Facebook.
She appears unbiased in the new article, but one must wonder what all she is leaving out, and or smoothing over.
