Happy Birthday, Kyron
Friends and family keep focus on missing boy by celebrating his eighth birthday in Medford

bilde

Her husband, Tony Young, said it was very difficult to prepare himself for the evening, but he felt better after seeing the outpouring of support.

"It makes it a little easier for Desiree and the rest of the family," he said.

This morning I am feeling so bad for KYRON and his parents.
His parents had their heart set on him coming home for his birthday.
Only to be let down once again............over 3 months.
How heartless is this? Come on, anyone who knows what happened and where
he is .............TALK NOW!!!

Balloon Release Marks Kyron's Medford Birthday

The party was then expected to move to the parking lot for birthday cake and a release of red balloons. Young said red is Kyron's favorite color and she wanted her son to see the balloons.

I'm glad they had a nice celebration. Thanks for all the links about it on Thursday! I had a 12 hr workday on Thurs and unfortunately did not have time or energy to catch up on the birthday news that day.

More from today's celebration. Watching the news tonight with Desiree speaking breaks my heart. :( There was a bit more that she said in the 6:00 hour but this was the gist of it here.

OMG - Kyron's beautiful cake with the frogs and the frog cup cakes...and the singing of happy birthday...and watching and listening to Desiree is heartbreaking. I simply can't imagine the strength it must have taken to put all this together. I can't imagine the heartbreak! Thank you for the video. moo mho

Just got back from Bullwinkle's..
We had a late start and got there a bit after 3pm, saw Kaine as we were walking in, my friend went up to him and he seemed to remember us and gave us both hugs....

They were wrapping most of the stuff up, but later on in the evening the group that organized the event took the remaining balloons and handed them out to the children and then released the rest..
Very touching..

It was VERY crowded when we got there (more than usual).
Kids had a blast, it's a fun place..

I do hope this event helped raise a good sum of $$...

=)

I hope we hear soon that the dollars are being put toward Texas Equsearch and/or a PI.

One or the other, or both, would be news, to keep the story going, as now that his brithday and school starting are behind us...unless something happens, there is not much to be reported.

A lotta hearts are breakin' tonight...

Mine goes out to Desiree and Kaine.

To the heartless who took Kyron, may you never know peace again.

Oh Lord, please let this nightmare end. The emotion...the pain...the anguish from Desiree is heartbreaking. For anyone with a heart....obviously, to me, the one who caused Kyron to disappear is heartless. And is delighted to see the pain she is causing Kaine and Desiree. :(

If watching these celebrations of this precious life from across the country is so heartwrenching for me that its almost unbearable...I cannot even begin to fathom the horiffic pain Desiree and Kaine are enduring. Their strength and determination moves me so profoundly that I cannot even find words.

I am not the type of person to normally wish ill upon anyone but to the person or persons responsible for this indescribable act of evil, may they know a swift and severe justice and not one day of peace or happiness from now until eternity. The suffering they have caused will come back to them ten fold.

Desiree is 100% right...its just beyond evil and hateful that this boy hasnt been sent home to be where he belongs. Whether he is still with us or not (and I believe he is!) those responsible need to let him come home.

I feel so terrible that Kyron's family is experiencing yet another birthday not even knowing where he went or what happened to him. Last year at this time, I never would have believed we'd be at basically the same point a year later. The picture from the first post on this thread, the red-eyed tree frog with the birthday party accoutrements, has been my computer screen background since his last birthday.

I cannot even believe we are going through another birthday without Kyron :( It's heartbreaking.

Here are my guys. Behind them are sunflowers that we planted specifically for Ky (8 of them :) ) They are huge! And they are almost blooming. I will cry if they bloom tomorrow. How amazing would that be? I will take pics of the flowers tomorrow and share with you all.

I can't bring myself to use the word "Happy" in association with this coming birthday...maybe there will be a different kind of reason to commemorate his birthdays in the future, but until he is found, the word "happy" just seems unsettling to me.

Blessings for Kyron's family on this day that must be especially hard for them. And Kyron, if you're out there, may today be the day you're coming home. Everyone's waiting.
