From the article linked:

"Video captured the moment the boy managed to escape from the home as his father — who had been out searching for the boy — saw his son and rushed to his side. Later that day, the boy found that his clothes and backpack were placed across the street from his family's home."

So, the suspects are known to the family? The boy gave them his address? And another boy was already being held there?
Seriously weird case, but I'm sure glad the boys are okay.

I wonder if the other boy was found.

how frightening
very bizarre - I wonder if the perps were going to send the pictures to demand a ransom

It all happened just before 5 p.m. on Sept. 19, when the 10-year-old boy was walking near his home in New Orleans' Algiers neighborhood, a spokesperson for the New Orleans Police Department tells PEOPLE.

Strange story. So far there’s been nothing about the boy who escaped with him.

That, and what pedophile kidnapper needs to leave to get a camera rather than just using his phone?

It almost sounds like that. They had the boys strip down to their underwear to take pics. Creepy for sure.
Then one boy finds his clothes & backpack across the street?

It's weird we're not hearing about the other boy and his well-being.

I’m thinking a Polaroid. No phone/digital trails.

moo?

but why wouldn't they already have the camera nearby?
My own opinion?

You would think they would have a camera but who knows? Somehow I don’t think we’re getting the whole story.

Also, it would be an extremely strong 10 year old that could kick down an external door, which i would assume opens inwards.

hmmm, I have a lot of questions on this one and cannot really comment until some are answered. This story feels off.

The New Orleans Police Department confirmed to Fox 8that no suspects have been identified and that, as of Friday morning, no other victims are being investigated.
10-Year-Old New Orleans Boy Escapes Armed Kidnappers Who Forced Him To Strip Inside Abandoned House

interesting that the alleged abductors knew just where to return the boy's backpack, etc. Also of note, I was able to locate the boy's home, and took a stroll through the neighborhood but was unable to locate a house in that area that resembled the one photographed as the vacant home the alleged abductors took him to. I was hoping to ascertain the distance between the two.

Also interesting that LE is not investigating any other victims considering the boy who escaped says there was another boy present who appeared to be in the same predicament.

Hopefully the property owner of the vacant house has taken steps to better secure it. Abandoned houses can be an attractive and hazardous nuisance for neighborhood children looking to get up to shenanigans. JMO

From all I've read, the boy was walking home on Kraft Place and was taken to this abandoned house on Farragut, one street away.

Off in a TON of ways. I'm kind of expecting an arrest(s) soon that will answer some of those questions.
