LA - 10-year old boy knocks down door to escape kidnappers after being taken at gunpoint and forced to undress - New Orleans, Sep 2025

I noticed something in the second video at approximately the 1:17 mark. Focus on the background between the brick house and the fence, where the child first appears. He appears to be walking. I don’t know if he sees his dad and that causes him to run, however he doesn’t appear to run in the direction of his dad. imo

I don't think the kid sees him at first actually. It kinda looks like dad yells and runs towards him and that's why the kid comes over in his direction from behind the van. I actually didn't see the kid in the background when I watched the video before and the body language and where he's oriented to make more sense to me now.

I'm trying to make this make sense. These kidnappers were kind enough to return his clothes? How did they know where he lived? I would be looking at local teens in the area I don't know why but that's what keeps popping in my head. IMO
he also doesn't look to be in his underwear in the video

yeah . . .

He must have forgotten about the part where he got dressed before breaking down the door while his armed captors were distracted. It happens. 🤷‍♀️ :rolleyes:

I'm not gonna get mad about a 10-year-old who MOO lied, but I'd love to know if he has a history of lying and if there's an underlying reason for it.

but then they said they found his clothes outside somewhere near his house soon after this! So he must be claiming he escaped in his underwear, but I agree, not sure if video shows that

I think the biggest problem with the story is that he said there was another boy captive. That should be what LE is focusing on now, now that this boy is safe! What happened to the "other boy"? Who was he? Is someone missing a child? Or were they then? They would want to find him to see he's safe and to get a statement from him.

it's really hard to tell - I think I see white undies?
but if he wasn't, why would the parents lie about his clothing being returned

but his 6 year old brother would have to be lying too

I know that crimes can be complicated, but this one seems staged in a way (and by more than just the child). A possible set up for clout or a go fund me? I know what it feels like to not be believed, so I'm very careful when it comes others. There are just too many unanswered questions for now. IF there is another child, I hope he is safe. And regardless of whether this is factual or not, I'm glad the 10-year old and the 6-year old are okay.

The aforementioned video, WVUE FOX 8 New Orleans;

@Ontario Mom
The ring video isnt from the address you mentioned,
it's from a different house on the east side of Kraft Pl...
the location can be figured from the edge of the front
lawn lining up with the edge of that rougher(darker)
road surface section, with road section end-line which
lines up with near center of the house across the road...

These are black people, the father is a guy who
apparently has some kind of long, either braided or
dreadlocked hair.

What appears to happen is the father is ringing the
doorbell, he sees his son run out of the driveway of
a house across the street and son starts to run north,
father yells to the son and son comes south and they
meet up in the roadway and move away to the north.

Seems to me what happened is after the son allegedly
escaped the vacant house at 2068 Farragut St, the son
may have run south along Farragut St and seen a
different house with a driveway with straight unimpeded
access to its' rear fence, maybe he ran east down that
driveway, climbed over that houses rear fence and then
continued running east down the adjoining properties
driveway of a house on the west side of Kraft Place, then
started to run north along Kraft Place, his father seeing
his son when the son emerged from the driveway and
started to run north.

I'm not seeing anything about the incident on the NOPD
website;
CORRECTION: the video I watched was the father knocking on a door at an occupied house, not a video of the child, and the father then running down those steps and toward his child when he heard his screams.

What of the "another boy"? Was there or wasn't there?

Regardless, the story is odd.
-------
My original text: The alleged video of a 'child' running from the house shows *steps* at the residence .. but other video of the alleged abandoned house reveals a one-story house with *no steps* at any entrance.

The story smells.
