I sure wish we could get an update on the mass shooter.

You would think the shooting of NINE young CHILDEN would be a major news story, but I haven't seen any national MSM carry it. If they aren't carrying it what does that say about our society, and our media as well?

Do they not cover it because they already know it wouldn't be of interest to the majority of their viewers?

We've had shootings at children's birthday parties where I live, too, a few recent ones:

That is just unbelievable.

Why aren’t the parents of the victims and the rest of the party-goers raising hell? Have there been threats? It only takes one brave parent to step up and go to the media.

If you build it - they will come...

I have to wonder why there were 60 people at a 12 year-old's birthday party, too.

What about the older kids? Was alcohol or other drugs involved?

When I was a kid, most kids celebrated with a small group of friends, with cake and ice cream, not with guns and a huge bunch of people, especially in tight quarters.

The mother said neither she nor her daughter knew the boys involved so they probably were not invited. Apparently they are moving from the area soon and the daughter wanted to have a big party.

If the two groups of boys were feuding, I doubt they were there to celebrate a birthday. It sounds like whoever started the shooting went there specifically to target the other boys, and other kids got shot in the process. They are lucky everyone survived.

The poor girl just wanted to have a memorable party and now she's been traumatized.

Grandma everyone should be outraged demanding justice for these little children who can't even have a birthday party nor go to a funeral with their family!

Why is it so many dont seem to give a damn?

Fgs, these are children being shot, and even killed.

The cases you, and Mary have linked breaks my heart.

Someone has got to start caring about all of these children.

It's the saddest thing ever because it's happening so often.

My God what kind of country have we become when children's lives mean little to nothing.

Do you know if there is a link listing how many children have been shot, and even murdered in 2020 or even 2019. I would think it's gotten even higher in 2021 though due to homicides rising.

I don't think LE even knows who brought the guns and which boy/boys were the shooters. I bet at least one of the victims knows. But yes, it does sound like it might be gang related since their motto is "kill or be killed," even if bystanders get in the way.

That's what makes the most sense to me. The only other option is that a fight started abruptly and they just happened to be armed. But according to police they had been in an ongoing dispute so it sounds like it was planned and targeted.

And yes, if it's gang/turf or drug related that would explain why nobody has given police a statement. They may be afraid of retaliation.

Another possibility is that the initial shooter just randomly shot into the garage with the intent to shoot anybody for whatever reason. But if that's the case, why hasn't even one person come forward? Imo
