could be from getting rid of evidence in a wooded area or from her fighting. if it's from her, she is very short and he probably didn't let her reach his face with whatever she was cutting or scratching with. you know like arm wrestling. he probably overpowered her before she could get to his face. makes me so upset just thinking about it

I really don't want to be the one to say this...but, when you see scratches on a perps hands and arms it is usually from someone being strangled and trying to fight to get the hands off of their neck.

Hurts to think it.

With all those wounds on his face and neck and the wounds that the lady at the dealership described, I cannot help but think that there was quite a struggle. Wounds on the face tend to mean that the people knew each other. (Rule of thumb is the closer to the face the wounds are the closer in relationship the people were). I know that this is not the case here, but he sure has a lot of wounds on his face/neck. Not to mention the ones his facial hair may be hiding.

I think the closer the wounds are to the victims face the more they knew one another. It's an intimate thing. Wounds on the perp usually indicate that's where the struggling victim was luck enough to strike. In self defense you're taught to target eyes a d knees. They're vulnerable.

KLFY is reporting this on their FB page:
On May 31st of 2012-- just weeks after Mickey disappeared-- he filed a motion to be removed from the sex offender registry. He had a hearing scheduled on August 9th to try and remove his name from the registry.

I've been reading along, trying to catchup on the threads from today. I had to stop and post regarding this information (thanks Looziana!).

This man has no conscience. The ability to lie and carry on your life without a shred of guilt or even the smallest fear of being discovered --the audacity of him to appear in court and request/demand that his rights be restored, knowing that he deprived Mickey of her's. How cocky and evil is that?
...ok, I'm really mad now!

Maybe but sure looks like a covering of some sort to me. Even looks like a corner of it hangs down a bit onto the front windshield edge.

Sure wish we knew more :). I will drive myself crazy.

If there was a cloth/cover/tarp covering the back of the truck (cab) a lot more people would have noticed and IMO we would have heard that pretty soon after the BOLO.

Holy geezus. Here I go m have a few margaritas to come back to more interpretation of the dwt. Island hopper can u fill me in at all? I caught u got these pics on tv... But what have they been saying and what are you seeing? I was always a believer that he was peeking over the hood. :/

There was a short segment on JVM tonight. I put my tv in slow motion and paused when the image seemed to be the clearest. Then I took pics of the still. As my tv is 85", he image was very large.

They aren't saying anything we haven't already heard but did talk more about the bike damage and truck damage. They did not specify what kind of damage. More or less confirmed that this truck did indeed hit her hard enough to cause damage.

I really want to know why his truck is all messed up. That would really stand out I would think. It just doesn't seem like something someone would do on purpose. Maybe he was making some sort of weird kidnap quarters back there!

These pics are making me realize that the truck going opposite of Mickey can't be the same truck.

They (LE) have his truck now right? So they know what, if any, alterations were made to it right?

That's amazing. I just wanna jump in my jeep and go to your house to see this on the big screen!! Mine is only 60", anyway... it does look like his hand is up to his mouth or chin.. smoking maybe?? This is awesome, thanks for posting.

We could Jeep together :)

That depends on how badly it was burned!
They can compare the before pics to the after pics... moo

So these are the pics. The first pic is of the entire truck. The other two pics are of the rear passenger side cab compartment.

It could be that you have to see it as big as I just did to see the detail, I don't know.

There is no roof and no window in the rear passenger side. There is a sheet/blanket draped over the top of the cab. You can see the emptiness of the rear cab, the interior of the door area that seperates the front section and the back and you can see how the sheet or covering drapes down into the cab in the rear. How odd.

Please don't blast me for posting these pics. I never stay in on a Friday night so I am clearly trying to get some answers even if only for myself. And I already know that some of you won't see anything but a blur. Sorry. But it is all very clear to me.

Why would the truck be missing the roof area on that side and why would he drive around with a big sheet or blanket on top of the truck??

I did not enhance or alter these images in any way...not even cropping. I took a pic of the tv screen.

Is this the still that was discussed about looking like the right front tire was off the ground?
I just had a nauseating thought about what that could be on top of the truck.

You would think but there it is.

I would think. Heard in the link posted today that it was 'melted' but I can't imagine it would effect the metal frame.

It is the same still of the truck but I tried to focus on the cab portion and stayed away from the front. I know what I see but not getting into that.

What I see over the cab definitely does not look like a person. Looks like a covering of some sort. You can make out the square shape and see where it drapes. Lots of weirdness with this truck pic. Lots that I can't explain.

There is something on the front dash that looks like a carrying case or small backpack. It is oblong shaped.

Ok I'm just gonna say it.

If this was right after impact, where the truck hit Mickey on her bike... Would it be possible the bike is under the right front tire and Mickey was thrown onto to top of the cab?

I know it sounds out there/crazy.

But after staring at those enhanced photos for a while, the thought jarred me.

See I was thinking what looks like something draping down partially covering the rear passenger window could be a foot or hand.
And what looks like something draping partially covering a tiny portion of the windshield could be the opposite (foot or hand)

But, I'm looking at your photos on my iPhone so maybe I'm not seeing them quite as clear.

There were two unrelated people, the car dealership person and the family member of the gf.

There were more people being investigated, other than Brandon Lavergne.
The lady from the dealership tipped LE on 06/14/2012.

PI Abdella made the statement 06/08/2012 and said he was looking at two suspects..and he has received two tips from independent sources describing the same person.

He was driving a new truck when he was arrested. The old/burnt truck wouldn't be in that image. It was taken before he burned it.

Both...an AVERAGE fee for a criminal attorney in a 1st degree murder charge w/agggrivated kidnapping is....$10k consultation & review of case; then the attorney will bring in his law partner $5k plus research fees & the paralegal's cost (per hour average $45-60); if they can "plead out" to manslaughter & get the kidnapping down to a misdemeanor, you're estimating another $100k...& we haven't even to into the appeal process...I am a licensed paralegal & did criminal law for 15+ yrs. I can quote statues/cases in my sleep but the time put ino one case in a week can be 30-50 hrs (not counting your other cases)... Needless to say, I had very few weekends, was never home, barely slept, was always going to a jail/prison but I LOVED my job (I even married a cop)

Yes, a case like this, unless you're incredibly wealthy, the defendant and their family are literally taking second mortgages on their houses to cover the fees, at least the one's who have homes with enough equity to afford a lawyer.

There has been a lot of debate about that with some members seeing what appears to be a bike light under the truck and a bike seat on the ground in front of the truck. Some members just see blur.

Most members feel that LE would not hide the fact she was hit right there and that LE would not release a still of the truck on top of her bike.

My personal thoughts are that I just don't know! I think maybe the bike could be but not Mickey. Maybe the bike was hit and she was thrown off and grabbed.

There are images of 'stuff' in this pic that clearly states something is going on. The picture just does not add up. There are no other sightings of her after she passed this spot at 1:47am And the truck was in the still passed at 1:48am. That is seconds to a minute after she rode in this spot. Lots of prior discussion on this.

No offense to LE at all but I think they would release a still even if the bike is under there if it is the only image of this truck and they knew it was responsible for her kidnapping. You can barely see anything anyhow in this still. I have seen video's of murders taking place when it is all they have.

As I have said many times, LE is under no obligation to release any info, to tell us the truth or to confirm or deny anything. Their only obligation is to locate the person responsible for taking Mickey however possible.

Now that BSL has been arrested and they confirm this truck hit her...I am even more convinced. They knew this truck was the key to it all.

I'm impressed with the Sex Offender classification on the Driver License. I've never heard of that before. If what we are hearing is true (the person at the car dealership called LE), this has turned out to be valuable.

I'm curious though, how in "normal life" activities, this really does anything. The only thing I show my DL for is buying alcohol, once in awhile using a credit card, or boarding a plane - all things legal for a RSO. Is it for LE if they pull the guy over?

BBM -

I have a friend who lives in La. She sells cell phones & plans. Just today she told me that a man came in to purchase a phone and while talking about the plans he asked her if she had a FB page. She told him no (not true) and he told her he was hoping she would get on FB and look up an old girlfriend for him. She told him, sorry, nope, no FB for me. He provided his DL when she wrote up the order and she then saw on his DL that he is a RSO. :what:

And you wouldn't be the first person to say this. I thought maybe but now it just looks like a blanket. Of course, that makes no sense to me.

I do think that she would have flown back into the hood or windshield when he hit her. I think that's why he had to get rid of the truck so fast. And the video of course.
