JPSO= Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office
10:14 -- JPSO gets the call
10:16 -- Call is dispatched to the responding officer, JP146
10:51 -- JP146 advises JP184 that BSL is uncooperative
10:16-10:51 -- JP146 arrives at Ochsner. Security personnel tell him NOPD has just finished up with BSL. During the same time frame, BSL tells the officer NOPD interviewed him for two hours. That puts NOPD there at approximately 8:15-8:45. BSL would have arrived at Ochsner no later than about 8:00 p.m. That's three hours earlier that what the media reported.
Now if we could only get a copy of the NOPD report.

Got to go get some late dinner.
A very melancholy thought from last night.... I was out late and hungry and on the way back from the Krooked Nickel stopped at Mel's Diner about 3 a.m. The place was packed with young folks about Mickey's age... laughing...talking loud - hollering - as Mel's always is at that hour. I sat at the counter with my back to the room and ate my breakfast plate and just listened to all the drunk, happy noise. I just knew that if I turned around, Mickey would be there laughing with her friends... and I just wished she could have made it that far... It didn't take much imagining to feel that it was midnight on May 19th and that as long as I didn't turn around and look, she was right there, enjoying herself. I paid my bill and as I walked out into the muggy dark, thought of a little twinkling star missing from the room and wondered where she was.
Well, I would assume since it's supposed to be confidential that they can't leave his name on it. Leah Richard (signature on the report under "confidential" stamp) is a producer for KLFY, btw.It would be great if we could get a report that has BSL's name on it. Wonder why the report has no name on it and it is redacted? Why release it and say it's a report involving BSL if the name isn't on it. Not sure what to believe anymore.
Isabelle, the news blacked it out before uploading it onto their website (I would assume). I'm confused as to what you think happened here. Can you explain?I noticed on the JPSO incident report the Divers license number is redacted. I guess they let the victim tell them what his DL no. was?? Still, why is there no name on this report?
I live in the area where Taylor was found, and I saw the car via license plate at our local Wal Mart in Gloucester and notified the police. Our Wal Mart camera were not operational :banghead:BSL's story about the gas station attack reminds me of another stupid story.
I don't know how many of you remember the case of Taylor Behl, a freshman at Virginia Commonwealth University, who went missing in September 2005.
"The day after Behl disappeared, before she was reported missing, Fawley filed a report that he had been mysteriously assaulted and kidnapped. From a journal entry made by Ben Fawley at skulz.deviantart.com on September 8, 2005:
I was out very early, not sure of the time but the sun hadn't been up long. I was heading up to Monument to take photos when 3 to 4 guys jumped me. They got a trash bag over my head before I could see them. Tossed me into a car and dumped me out on some dirt road. I wasn't hurt much, just from where that sat on me. As they never said a word I am sure this was not just a robbery. My one camera and tripod is missing along with the $20.00 I had tucked in the camera. I didn't have my wallet, but I did have my bank card and that wasn't taken..."

So I guess BSL isn't the first bad guy to try pretending to be a victim in order to cover up his crime.
I don't really think I'm following..... why would he stab himself in the chest, back, neck, and hand then drive all the way to Oschner? I mean, he had to know he'd most likely be questioned...right? And how does one go about stabbing themselves in the back?
Obviously nothing is out of the realm of possibility with this horrible excuse for a human being, but this just isn't adding up for me.
Wondering if there is anyone here who still believe she was under his truck in that photo...
(if she HAD been...would she have been in any condition to wound him, if in fact she did?)
BSL travel to hospital...
Would he have possibly been planning to use this bridge?
If so... How far off track would that throw him?
I guess there would be signs posted warning him in advance IF his GPS
was not working! IMO his brain was the GPS and he wasn't aware of the closing??? Good excuse to use about getting lost though.
Huey P. Long Bridge: The entire bridge will be closed from 12:01 a.m. May 18 to 12:01 a.m. May 21 to remove old deck steel stringers.

I think BSL was brazen and sloppy because he's gotten away with similar events in the past.....moo
Good catch! I can't believe that didn't occur to me earlier when we were considering possible routes. The Huey P has been closed many weekends and nights for over a year now. He still could have come up River Rd from Gramercy like I said earlier, but he could not have come from the west bank of the river and crossed over the Huey P. Long bridge. If he came in on Hwy 90 he would have crossed at the Luling Bridge, and that route wouldn't have taken him close to Jefferson Hwy.

I don't know if it was Spring, but LE said in the press conference that they knew how he got back from Texas. IIRC
I'm still catching up so forgive me if its been said but.... this guy is caught on video following a girl that has essentially disappeared, then gets mugged in new orleans and stabbed multiple times on all sides, has his wallet, license and cash stolen, drives into texas and his truck gets stolen and is found torched days later- THEN comes home from being offshore and is arrested and put in jail with no bond... talk about bad luck.. sorry, I have a hard time applying "innocent till proven guilty" to this one... this isn't his first rodeo. Mickey's family and her community kept this so public I think he scrambled and got sloppy- jmo

He had poison ivy, too?! :thud:
I was thinking the opposite, meaning he came into the New Orleans area via River Rd. Cut up and bleeding, he either knew how to find Ochsner because so many people travel here from out of town to be treated there. Or, he was wandering River Rd and Jefferson Hwy and happened upon Ochsner sitting right on the river.I was thinking he would have avoided heading back towards the abduction site.
Adds mileage to his trip but avoids possible detection?
