How do we even know he had to get a new license? I'm SURE he was lying about his being stolen just as he lied about his injuries.

I am sure that LE is well-aware of when the license he is accused of tampering was issued. And I bet it was not after 5/19. Or if it was, it was just to cover since he had been forced to tell police it was stolen.

I had the misfortune once of being in a hospital lab when they brought in a young man who had been accused of murdering a 12-year-old girl and was subsequently found guilty of it. This was many years ago. However, his attitude and his manner were unforgetable. He seemed quite normal, and only at times did he seem a little agitated. What I remember best is when he said "I have no idea what the cops are talking about. I was just at the car wash washing my car and the cops picked me up and are charging me with murder." I write this because I think that the brain disassociates itself from the trauma. Some of the murderers truly believe they were just defending themselves or whatever and/or cannot recall any of the events and thus think that they are innocent. The broken brain is a mystery. Still.

Do I think he probably raped and killed others? You bet. It is proven time and time again that these crimes progress. The predators brain does not stop preying. I bet only one-tenth of rapes are reported and probably one-tenth of those are solved. This guy is a predator and probably even his own closest family members do not know how many victims there have been -- nor do they want to know. Remember, in order for evil to exist -- there has to be a force field which surrounds the perp which makes people close to him fail to see the evil. That is the only way evil can do its dirty work. Mom wears rose-colored glasses. How many teachers have heard from mothers -- my child would NEVER do that! That is become moms are supposed to defend their children against the world -- This guy is a conniving, manipulative, evil perp. He was capable of anything and just because he did not get caught does not mean he was not out their just like in Job - where ya been BSL where ya been? I have been lurking here and there to and fro ....looking to see who I can rape and murder. evil incarnate.

This is gonna sound sad, but if my son committed a crime, I would NOT stand by him. I know that's crazy but I'm married to a cop & he's been in LE for 35 + yrs. & he would stand by the decision not to support him either. In fact, I actually thought this sounded like something he would do; he's been a hell-boy since he was 4, a liar, thief, druggie all before he was 15. He was adopted by me (the step mom) my hubby is his dad & birth momma died when he was 12 (birth mom & my hubby never married but he fought for his rights) but at 15 relations were so strained I don't know how we made it to 18...he left April 1, 2012 & since he was "sneaking" to Lafayette while he was up suppose to be in class I would have turned him in if I hadn't seen an alibi for him.

Anyway...I was a teacher after Katrina & Rita; many of our "transplants" were "My baby don't do wrong kids". Im sure this young man felt just like my "son" still does, everybody owes him cuz real momma died...

If he had been attacked at a gas station, and the neck wound was from that attack, you'd think he'd tell the hairdresser all about it. What reason would he have to lie to the hairdresser and say it was on Bourbon?

Is there any other link to this "Bourbon-St. attack" other than what he told the hairdresser?

Some have said the neck scar (well, a neck scar, at least -- he could have others) appeared to be from a much older wound. Just FWIW.

Hate to break the bad news -- but poison ivy in Louisiana is as common as gators and bayous. While it could be a clue that at some point he was in the woods -- he could have been in his back yard. My mother was so allergic to poison ivy that when the neighbor burned his weeds my mother would end up with poison ivy from head to toe. Some folks are that sensitive to it.

However -- it could be he trapsed through poison ivy down a piece of land putting her body in the water. Now that I could believe.

I just don't think he took the time to dig a grave.

Wow!!! :what: Do you have a link please? This could really help in finding Mickey...I'm wondering if he moved her to another location deep in a wooded area and got himself in a hot mess. This guy is a magnet for trouble - kinda glad to think of him suffering with cuts and a bite and then itching like mad with poison ivy.

Not Cajun Sarah, you have to scroll down to the comments. Here's the link:

Cajun Sarah, I see what you meant. The comment was made on July 11th not that he was treated on July 11th.

But his mother knew he had been in prison for a sex crime and also that he had been charged with domestic violence, even if he got out of that one. So she either decided he was the poor victim of those women, or she had to have a feeling the charges re: Mickey could well be true.

Also if his hand is truly injured, he may not have been able to do so effectively.

Wonder where he got the poison ivy? Could be a clue.

Not sure of the truth to this. Of course cuts can be treated even if you have poison ivy, and a shot of cortisone will clear that up in a day or two. I feel like it's just another crazy rumor. He'd be stupid to go to OGH anyway...too close to home.

No problem. I've been thinking about it for some time.

I'm not positive how things were conducted at Avoyelles in 2008, but at least now, visitors are forbidden from wearing white t-shirts and jeans, lest they be confused with inmates. The person of interest in the Jessica Hawk case was wearing jeans and a white shirt with a shorter-sleeved black shirt over the white.

http://doc.la.gov/pages/correctional-facilities/avoyelles-correctional-center/

I know that very, very few men would be so fashion-forward as to wear jeans and a white t-shirt (ha), but again- I'm adding it to my pile of information that will likely amount to nothing.

The only thing that ever stood out to me about the description of that clothing was that anyone would wear two shirts on an August day in New Orleans. It was about 90 degrees here on August 9, 2008.

Maybe upon release someone had given him two shirts for a choice. Rather than carry one he decided to just put both of them on.

I would be interested to know if he or a friend in Texas had a boat.

With a boat and a witting or unwitting accomplice, Lake Livingston is not far at all from the area where the truck was found, and it probably is pretty deep.

ETA: I know that's off the wall, but I was just thinking what he would do in Texas if he didn't want to/was too injured to dig a grave.

Okay I've officially joined the land of the living.

I'm going to work on the timeline as soon as I get my kids tucked in.

AFAIK, we've got him at the hospital, the buying of his new truck ... and what else to add? Did we get a definitive answer on when he reported his truck stolen? The 26th or the 31st? Or is that still up in the air?

And to answer myself, I guess BSL doesn't have a boat, because if he did, he could have disposed of the bike properly....

Your timeline ROCKS!

No idea about the date.... too many "facts" swirling around....

So I see from the KATC timeline that the truck was found burned on May 31, the same day as BSL reported it stolen.

Just a basic question..... what motive would a thief have to steal a valuable truck, drive it out to the forest, and burn it almost right away?

I asked this awhile back.... I wonder if the truck had been stripped? LE probably hasn't said. Folks were confusing me with the stripped truck found in Laporte.

Not to quote myself, but the timeline in this article, dated yesterday, has the truck reported stolen on 5/31.
Yeah I saw that. I'm confused though. Do you think that LPD is basing that off of Mouton's radio interview? His answer was sort of all over the place.

Do you think the Montgomery Police Reporter is the police department or just some blogger?

Haven't been following the whole thread, but, I just have to say, when I look at this guys mug shots (BSL) I do not see an attractive man, as others have said. I see a depraved mind. He is seething with anger, and is furious about being caught. Even the picture of him smiling makes me kind of sick to my stomach. Such a devious smile. IMO

I looked at the mugshot from the arrest last week & I looked at the current one when he was re-booked on the offense he forgot to be booked on & I see this...relief in the 2nd mug & anger/meanness in the 1st one.

Its been said that once a person who committed a crime is arrested, a sign of "relief" comes over them.

In answer to your question about when SEX OFFENDER started being put on La. Licenses---12/12/2006

http://dpsweb.dps.louisiana.gov/omv...f70ec2b8e3a67a8e8625723500587f5f?OpenDocument

When I had asked the same question earlier, someone posted info (with some good links) that indicated it might not have actually gone into actual practice until a few years later, because of budgeting/implementation holdups, I think. Don't have the post right at hand -- if I find it, I'll bring it over.

ETA: I found the post, but I had remembered the mention of later dates incorrectly -- what the poster said was something to the effect that it was probably 2007 or 2008 because federal funds would be lost if there was delay until 2009.

Media accuracy down here is as common as a polar bear in Tahiti.

Honestly, someone living in Texas is going to have to get that info from a direct source.... or maybe can one of us just call the Montgomery Co. police?
