Do you have a link for VBP stating that, or is this your opinion?
It was on the old thread, IIRC someone submitted BCJD to VBP early on & said that the woman who replied was very enthusiastic, and i believe other people who submitted BCJD said that VBP already knew, i’ll try to find those posts again & link them

sorry if this has already been brought up (- i'm only on page 6 currently), but if the doe was CW would the sketch not feature more prominent ears? Charlie's ears were extremely prominent on his face, and would likely still poke out a significant enough amount to be of note, even though the doe had longer hair

Charles Wallace Jr. was identified by DNA and publicly named in September 2025 as being NamUs #UP5181, a partial human skeleton found in Lee County, Arkansas, on January 13, 1977. Since he was already found elsewhere, he can not be this separate unidentified body.

Tomorrow will mark 51 years of this man’s death. Valentine’s Day has been a sad day for me for years, and I was thinking about this case today while taking a break from another case.

Reading his suicide note again, what little has been published, I began wondering if maybe he was adopted. That would be why he put mom and dad in quotes, why he thanks them. Just an idea.

Maybe it's too big, maybe the nose isn't the same, but I'm just going by resemblance on the sketch.

He looks similar in the photo. Especially the eyebrow line is similar. 🤔
But..."brown hair, eyes of unknown color" - in DoeNetwork.
Height is ok.
Worth reporting?

I was thinking about mismatched socks, it probably has nothing to do with it now, but here in Italy and other parts of the world we have Mismatched Socks Day, I don't know if they have it in the USA...basically it's to raise public awareness about the importance of accepting differences and promoting diversity. This day is characterized by the custom of wearing mismatched socks, or "mismatched" socks, as a sign of solidarity and support for people facing challenges related to differences. The first edition of Odd Socks Day in the United Kingdom dates back to 2013 and since 2017 it has been organised by the Anti-Bullying Alliance, while the first Italian edition dates back to 2014. In the Anglo-Saxon world, the event was initially launched in Australia in 2013 as part of Mental Health Week, to raise public awareness of issues related to mental health and bullying. In Italy It takes place on the first Friday of February.

This case has always been maddening. I've researched missing people from that time and never found a match. The young man writes as though he's loved by loving parents but they never looked for him?

The lack of shoes always led me to believe he was somewhat local but I've searched all states with no success. He couldn't go too far without shoes. It's also such a specific place it feels like a person who is familiar with the region.
