NOPD searching for missing man traveling from California

Police are searching for 35-year-old Brian Wenger.

According Wenger’s sister, he was in California and told her that he would be traveling back to New Orleans. She attempted to contact him several times but was unsuccessful. She has not seen him or heard from him since.

Wegner is described as an African American male, 5’7” tall and weighs about 136 pounds with a thin build. He has black hair, a goatee and wears glasses.

He posted on March 12 that he was in Oakland, CA awaiting an ID card to be mailed. Then on March 28th, he posted that he started a new job in New Orleans. So it does sound like he made it back home, but I couldn't find any MSM/LE confirmation.
