DNA from remains of a 2005 Natchitoches Parish cold case is being profiled at a Texas lab, in hopes of identifying the body. Director of Operations of Othram Labs, Colby Lasyone said they believe the body found in an oil drum encased in cement is that of a black male between the ages of 18 and 30.

“Likely between 5’6” and 5’10”. Beyond that there isn’t a lot of information,” said Lasyone.''

''The evidence that we received we feel good about it, and we’ll be able to get leads back to this agency and we will, I believe, get answers in this particular case,” said Lasyone.''

''If you have any information about the case, you’re asked to call the Natchitoches Parish Coroner’s Office at 318-357-2260 and reference case number J-00506-05.''

Doe Network, like NamUs, now says this man was deceased for only one year: 1422UMLA

I imagine Othram will be making an announcement at some point in the near future since it’s noted above they have this case (from December).

Below are the viewable MP rule outs.

What about Douglas Morris Jarmon II? The side-by-side comparison is quite similar in appearance. I'd submit a tip but isn't it pointless given that it is already being worked on by @othram?

Never pointless. Send all tips to the law enforcement agency or you can also contact us anytime at [email protected].
