Dana Lemar, 25, was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the shooting death of Cordaryle Robert, according to court records. Lemar's boyfriend, Terrance Calloway, 30, also of Houma, is still scheduled to stand trial April 30 on charges of second-degree murder and obstruction of justice.

Authorities had accused Lemar of helping Calloway set up Robert's robbery by arranging a date via Facebook. The couple wanted the expensive red and silver rims and tires on Robert's Cadillac Escalade, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office has said.

Lemar arranged to meet up with Robert in Slidell on June 24, 2016, authorities said. She then convinced him to drive about 40 miles away to Harvey where Robert was ultimately shot and left dead in a ditch alongside the 41000 block of Peters Road. Calloway and Lemar then drove off in Robert's Escalade, investigators said.

Houma man convicted of killing Slidell man

A 30-year-old Houma man was convicted Wednesday night in Jefferson Parish of shooting a Slidell man in the face and leaving his body in a roadside drainage ditch, prosecutors said.

After about 40 minutes of deliberation, the jury unanimously found Terrance Calloway guilty of the June 25, 2016, second-degree murder of 27-year-old Cordaryle Robert, the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office said. Calloway was also convicted of obstruction of justice for driving Robert’s 2003 Cadillac Escalade from the murder scene and setting it on fire near Thibodaux.

After court outbursts, judge hands down life plus 40 years in deadly Facebook robbery

A defendant convicted of using Facebook to lure a Slidell father of four into a robbery-turned-murder refused to stand for the Jefferson Parish judge handing down his sentence Thursday (June 28), kicking off several minutes of chaos that ended with contempt charges for himself and a female supporter in the gallery.

"Get the sentence over, man, so I can go," Terrance Calloway, 30, told Judge Michael Mentz as he leaned back in his chair at the defense table instead of standing, as instructed by the court.

Calloway kept his seat despite commands from bailiffs and pleas from his relatives and friends, who were seated behind him. Mentz held Calloway in contempt of court and ordered him to serve three months in Jefferson Parish prison, prompting his sister to angrily speak out.

She was ordered to leave, and she dropped obscenities as she walked out. Mentz held her in contempt of court and issued a $200 fine.

Once order was restored, Mentz sentenced Calloway, 30, of Houma, to life in prison without the possibility of probation, parole or suspension of sentence for the second-degree murder of Cordaryle "Co" Robert.
