A family in Kaplan says they are searching for their missing family member, last seen in Lafayette.

The family tells KATC that Hannah McMellon was last seen around 8:30 p.m on Sunday, May 26, 2019, heading back to Kaplan.

A missing person’s report was filed with the Kaplan Police Department.

The family says McMellon’s disappearance is abnormal behavior as she has two children at home. Police say McMellon’s phone when called, went straight to voicemail.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kaplan Police Department.

She has a middle schooler and a baby. Baby is from her 3 year relationship. She is a hair dresser. Since she was leaving work most likely she was wearing all black(hair dressers tend to wear that color as their uniform)

National Center for Missing and Endangered Inc Facebook page has photos of the car and license plate. She seems like she has a good stable life and no obvious reason to leave.
