Atwood appears to be an internet creation? I can't find anything on him or his alleged victims.

I'm having trouble, too.

Are you a local? Locals seem to know about the case.

It's weird not to find anything.

http://www.sunherald.com/2012/06/12/4003427/pictures-video-released-of-couple.html

The man who was with them is or was a doorman at a business near the club where Lockhart worked on Bourbon Street.

People questioned around the Temptations club recognized the couple from surveillance pictures taken at the strip club, but did not perceive them to be a threat

Chief Investigator Glenn Grannan said New Orleans police found security tapes at most area businesses, and investigators were able to track the three people as they walked two or three city blocks and around a corner. That's when they lost track of them on video about 2:30 a.m

"They know we were looking for them and they haven't contacted us yet," Sheriff Ricky Adam said

Ok, first time I have attempted this so I hope it works. I took the statement of walking 2-3 city blocks and around a corner literally to see where that possibly would have taken them.

Locals correct me if I am wrong, but turning the corner on canal would probably not take you off all video. There are many shops along that street. Busy and would have been easy to catch a cab though? or close to parking across canal??

Going back north, the further you get down bourbon, the less the crowds are and probably less the security cameras.

Also, she left at 2:05 am and last camera was around 2:30. That is 25 minutes and neither route would take that long without walking REALLY slow or making some stops....

(hope my link works!!)

No. But absolutely nothing except the one blog post is suspect.

Those comments on the video also show that the people who recognize her recognize her as margaret and not Patricia or "crystal"

Can anyone post a link to the video and/or picture that shows the person this funky hurricane guy claims is the Atwood accomplice? Been unable to find it myself

Found her facebook page but don't think I can link it. If you watch the videos you should be able to get her name and look her up....

The guy in the video.

Boy I hope your sources are right and he has been found!! If not the killer, then maybe he can shed some light on what happened that night!

mods asked to hold off. Appears everything is pointing to an innocent person based on a bogus blog post. (thats how I see it anyway.)

I thought it was weird also that I could not find any articles about serial killer Charles Atwood and thought maybe he was ficticious until I found this:

http://sfbayview.com/2011/prosecution-rests-case-in-danziger-trial/

Fleming was also the lawyer for Charles Atwood, a Metairie man who pleaded guilty in 2003 to killing and dismembering at least three women.

Nope. He's definitely real. I went went to http://2theadvocate.com, which is the Baton Rouge newspaper, clicked on the archives, and searched Atwood and his accomplice's names. You can purchase the entire article for $2.95 if you like, but I was too cheap to do it.

Okay, I watched three of the videos. :yuck: The one where he compares the Atwood murders to JL's murder is mildly interesting, but amounts to speculation and hearsay. I really don't think it's worth our time to discuss.

Minors appear in the other two videos, plus a woman who has not been named in relation to this case by LE or MSM. So that's strikes two and three.

Bottom line, the videos are off limits. Don't link to them, and don't direct others to them.

The Atwood murders were real, however, and I don't see any harm in speculating about similarities and a possible connection IF we can do so without linking to this guy's videos.

:gthanks:
