Maybe he's got different warrants under different names. How does anyone do that in the 21st century?

I'm obviously not a criminal. =\

You'd be far too eager to track yourself down and bring justice for your victims :)

now why would this parish have been in on the arrest? anyone know??

Where they are at time of arrest would be the jurisdiction that has to arrest them and then transfer custody to jurisdiction that has the warrant... At least makes sense to me. So they had to have been in tangipahoa at time of arrest

St. Tammany is the parish east of Tangipahoa. St. Tammany police must have helped with tracking them down and arresting them.

And where were they when Brittney Wood (May 31st, Alabama) and Mickey Shunick (May 19th, Louisiana) disappeared?
Then there is North Carolina and the other states too... the list of missing women in their areas could get really long if I kept going.

I haven't quite found myself in 5 decades.:dunno: I'm an underachiever.

Wonder why they're being held in Tangipahoa Parish. Is that where they were picked up?

It's common for people who are arrested in Orleans Parish (and surrounds) and expected to be held for any extended period of time to be transferred to Tangipahoa.

I heard they had existing warrants. Otherwise, they wouldn't have been able to take them in, right? Just question them - not "in custody"?

This is a good start to the day.

Yes, sometimes. I don't think that's the case here. Looks like they were picked up in Tangipahoa.

They were taken into custody with the help of NOPD, Kenner police, Tangipahoa and St. Tammany parish investigators.

Investigators said they've been questioning the couple "all night long." They were taken into custody thanks to a tip from the public.

Whew. I was confused. I think I have it now... The 2 were boyfriend/girlfriend FROM Kenner(Jefferson Parish) but were taken into custody in Tangipahoa Parish. Makes sense to me now.

Here’s to local law enforcement officials for making three arrests in the Lundi Gras killing of Lafayette cab driver Wallace Badeaux, 35. Two 19-year-old Lafayette residents, Kevin Gildhouse and Aaron Francois, are accused of robbing Badeaux for the paltry sum of $100 and then shooting him once in the head at close range. The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Department also arrested Gildhouse's girlfriend,18-year old Margaret Sanchez, as an accessory after the fact to first degree murder.

So that was in 2009 - maybe the age is wrong not the same person?

Whoa.... accessory after the fact for M1? if it is the same woman, how is she out and about? :what:

I can't tell from the article where exactly they were picked up, only that they were questioned in Tangipahoa.

I wouldn't doubt that they were arrested in Tangipahoa, but the fact that they're being held there doesn't mandate they were detained there. I'm curious to see if there's any information about this at the press conference today.

Not the same Margaret Sanchez, saw the mug shot for the one in the Lafayette case. Pretty positive it's not her.

Gotcha -- it striked me as odd just because of the charges against her.
