I don't think any of us intentionally post inaccurate info just nilly willy. There is a lot of confusing and incorrect details released by the media. So I respectfully am defending all the WS members who post here. We all add our two cents and IMO every penny counts.

My current uneducated, pet theory is that they gave her something to party with that they (TS and MS) could handle and JL couldnt and she ODed. Not wanting to get in trouble themselevs, they dropped her off somewhere and the remaining horrendous actions happened then.

Im just not convinced this particular couple could pull off the mutiliation and dumping part of it.

To me it seems the more educated people are the less likely they are to be desperate..angry...hostile..etc... i think our people need to be better educated as well...
IDKH or what approaches could be taken in order to make that happen...but it seems if all ive stated previously could be taken into consideration ...these senseless acts of violence such as the horrible things that transpired in Jarens case could become less and less likely to happen

Even tho I know it wouldnt wipe out all crim, just seems as if it could possibly happen less

Skip the above theory for a minute and look at the next serious crime he commits. He picks a minor female as his victim.
In May 2003, TS took indecent liberty with a child and is found guilty (6/5/03).

In the old 2003 newspaper article it mentions that the 14 yr olds mother was also charged. IIRC the teen had refused to go to school and the mother allowed her to stay with TS.
So my question or thoughts led me to speculate that perhaps TS was dating the mother or she was a friend of the family. I assume there was some kind of relationship there. Has anyone heard more on this?

In my mind it helps establish that TS likely targeted weak, troubled co-dependent type women and was just playing them for his own benefit.

And...MAS is guilty out of jealousy imo but I would surely change my opinion if there is evidence that TS has been involved in other murders. I just havent seen any proof yet.

I would guess there are a string of women/victims out there and I would love to hear what they have to say. Hopefully LE has heard from them.

I seriously doubt they killed her in Kenner, then drove to Mississippi. No way it happened there. A lot of people use their places in BSL only on weekends or for vacations. Perhaps a vacant one was used for the crime and it hasn't been discovered yet.

I can not see them taking a chance driving a body especially through Kenner. Kenner cops do not play, at least I know they did not when I was still living there. Basically anyone that I knew that got a ticket got it in Kenner. The house that was searched is not that far from where my friend's parents live. I honestly can not tell you how many times her and her family got tickets right around that area. Seems like a very risky move. I think whatever happened happened in MS.

This theory has been tossed around so much here, yet many of us keep asking the same question: "Why then, did they try to pick up other girls that night if Jaren was the target?" It makes no sense that she was killed by someone who had revenge on their minds. They were looking for a girl, any girl who was willing to go. That makes it random and that means that any one of them would have ended up in pieces on the beach.

I am not 100% sure that there wasn't a third party...However I am almost sure there wasn't the more I think about it!! I mean I think we all know that TS wanted someone whom he could pleasure himself with given his prior sex offenses...right?? The more I sit here and think about it the more I believe he is the one who killed her...along with MAS....

I now have been stuck on the thought that, given the statements of Jaren's brother, Lance about how his sister was a fighter....He knows she wouldnt have went without a struggle...So I am left to believe and this is my opinion only ......that Jaren was probably drugged and imm that could have very well been the method used to kill her...

and the stab wound could have been there maybe to throw off investigators maybe.....or a way for him to make sure she she was dead (sorry so graphic) before he dismembered her..

Why dismember her in such an intricate way?? There are a few different reasons I'm thinking of and one would be to maybe make it easier to transport her given the way she was cut ...to me it just seems he would have dismembered her in such a way bc he was trying to make it easier to fit her into whatever it was that he transported her in to the water..it kinda seems he had to make do with what he had possibly....

I'm also not sure of MAS involvement but I know she knows something or did something and I think we all can attest to that at this point...

One thing I know for sure is every day that passes with nothing more from investigators, I find myself continuously asking why why why....


I believe I agree with you that no matter what they were looking for a girl
Whether or not they were out to commit murder that night is still up in the air for me....but I think something went wrong that messed up their little plans probably bc Jaren put up a fight or they Over drugged her and panicked or someone got jealous while poor Jaren was being victimized and was out of it...
Maybe they drugged her had their way and left her and got scared went back and she was still in the same place where they left her and they stabbed her bc they didn't know if she was alive or if she was alive they knew they had messed up...

Maybe they left her and someone else got her later and when she began showing up in BSL in pieces they freaked and started dying hair and deleting FB's ...hiding out ETC... I believe I've said this a few times now...sorry....

All of these are possibilities and they are all so terribly gruesome ...I hope LE says something soon bc PERSONALLY I'm getting so tired of all these possibilities haunting my mind.....and they're not going to stop till we get some answers........

I do too, but let's look at the required elements of the crime:

1. Privacy.
2. Knowledge of how to dismember a body (and how long does that take with a knife?).
3. A way to clean up clothing and shower or wipe off afterwards.
4. A manner in which to transport the remains (coolers? boxes? bags?) without looking suspicious. Where would one find or purchase these?
5. Cover of darkness to dump the remains (possibly).

All of the above leads me to believe there was a third person involved and that there was no way it was all accomplished that evening/morning. There just simply wasn't enough time between 3 to 3:30ish until 6:00 a.m. when it gets light outside. MOO.
