Can you imagine presenting the words of a guy who calls himself 'Joke' as evidence in a court of law?
His words are just words as there's no way to verify his claim - he doesn't back his words by using his real name.
Not to mention the mistakes contained within the article. For instance, they report that Speaks was in prison until 2005. That's untrue.
The comment was made by a detective from the Sheriff's department according to the author. Double trouble.
There once was a time when we could rely on the info given in the news.

My goal isn't to be argumentative or unfriendly. I'm trying hard to keep it real, uncover some facts and hopefully truths.
In order to do this, I have to push aside emotions and may sound cold hearted at times. Sorry.

Well, actually the guy is telling the truth about Speaks' birthplace. Rhapsdy gets credit for finding this information.

FBI crimes against children JWB looks exactly like TS and around the time federal marshals lost sight of him in PA this guy shows up in RI. Maybe a stretch but not a very far one, plus 4 women show up dead on a beach in that area. Am I grasping at straws???

Yes, TS has many fames and faces. I believe he used several different aliases and also opened businesses and was a general con artist. I also believe he had someone else checking in for him for his parole/probation. I am not sure what ou mean by FBI crime against children JWB looks exactly like TS -- can you explain that sentence? I think anything is possible with this character.

It would help a lot to have some of the facts confirmed. Until we do, we have to keep in mind that it's hearsay and should not be regarded as fact. That's not meant to be offensive or disrespectful of anyone. It's for the benefit of the victims that we set the bar high when seeking the truth. Having said that, I'd like to know if this J person was around the night Jaren left the club with TS and MAS. Has he been seen since?

I would like to know who he is as well.....I am aware that we can't post his lastname ...however he was supposedly dating hillary for a while and she lived with him for a short while and he is the person to find her in the bath tub allegedly and been the first to notify authorities! If this is true if we find something stating the fact that this person did find her if there were something written about it are we allowed to post the link?? I haven't found evidence of this at this point it's only hearsay...but seems a credible source...would be nice if we could find out more about this

i haven't been following this case closely, so forgive for being johnny come lately, but were there prints on the body parts? seems like if TS murdered her then there would be evidence on the body or clothes somewhere right? what about seminal residue? does fingerprint and or DNA evidence wash away in water? i didn't think it did, but i'm new to sleuthing and don't watch crime shows other than Castle

You're not being ignored. Nobody answered because nobody knows the answers to your questions. The FBI has some/all? of the evidence for testing. They do not release the results to the news media. I'm sure they are doing every test known to man to gather evidence.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the clothing that was found near Jaren's head would have immediately been properly gathered and bagged, using gloves, and turned over to the forensics people right away.

If LA/MS LE left any of those things laying around, then they have more problems than I care to think about. I'd like to think that didn't happen. :twocents:

Ill bet salt water and being left in the hot gulf of mexico for 2 days would put a damper on trying extract prints off a body. Ill bet its hard to extract prints off a body thats not in water just cause of the bodys natural oils. From what i understand prints left on a hard dry surface only last about a week due to dust collection. So prob imposibile to get em off a body in hot salt water for a few days. Any experts out there can help with this one

Hey, I don't doubt Rhapsdy is telling the truth. I wasn't questioning her honesty or anything from that perspective.
That's the birthday/date we've had/believe to be true. I've had that written down for a long time now.

Just one sec tho, don't you believe there's a chance that info found on Family Tree Maker can be wrong?

Also I didn't know this was a contest. Lots of peeps find info all the time and post it. As time goes by, we sleuthers
own the info without always remembering who the original sleuth is who uncovered it.

Honestly don't know. It probably depends on what the item is that's being tested - how much oil was deposited and if whatever it is absorbed the oil.

I've wondered about this possibility too. Unless the blood had time to dry first before being in the ocean, it seems it might rinse out of the fabric. If it's dried blood that's another story.

No contest. Just giving credit where credit was due.

I snipped the name in the quote because family members who have not been named in MSM are off limits. We can link to MSM and public records without posting the names here.

LE has ID'd the suspect as Terry Christopher Speaks from North Carolina. We've seen his rap sheet with DOB and addresses in Mount Airy and Pilot Mountain. If LE is satisfied with the information then I see no reason to question it. I don't assume that the website is 100% accurate, but if you follow through from there you'll find that the links connect.
