If you look at the list of the family names in the obits, MAS's grandmother died in 2005 after one of her uncles died in 2004. If you are familiar with New Orleans music scene, you can get info on one of her uncles who is highly respected and recognized. His mother's maiden name does not begin with a C.

I agree....all information I have seen his mother's MAIDEN name started with "P" and her MIDDLE name "S". Passed away January 2005

One of the 2 places that reminded me of a possible photo spot of JL and her little girl on the beach continued to play over and over in my mind since I first saw the photo. Then it hit me as I was sitting on the deck looking out at the Gulf of Mexico. I can see the trees on the Barrier Islands one of which being Ship Island. It was to me like looking at a carbon copy of the trees in the photo. So then I was off thinking about the pier. The pier that comes to mind is the one between Island View Casino and Long Beach. A camera on zoom could very well capture the trees and the pier if taken from the right angle.

Not sure if you travel Hwy 90 between Gulfport and Long Beach but would appreciate a second set of eyes for your input. As my husband, sister and I were headed towards Biloxi Saturday, I showed them the picture on Justice 4 Jaren website and they both thought it could be a possible photo spot.

It could just be my imagination getting the best of me. I will make every attempt to take a picture from the location I have in mind next weekend to share to get everyone's thoughts as I did not think my Blackberry could capture like a camera would.

Does anyone know if JL spent anytime in Mississippi? Wether it be fishing, trip to the beach, shopping, or events.

I'm hoping by posting these pics someone will recognize the piers in the background?

I agree. The person who died in February with the middle initial "C" was not born in the U.S., and is not the grandmother.

Take a look at the 2nd picture.....JL and daughter walking on beach. Appears to be trees in far background.

It seems as though the pace of the discussions slowed a bit once the speculation was made that MAS and Jaren may have been casual acquaintances with TCS being in the picture since he hooked up with MAS. That would easily change some of the scenarios, especially those involving a premeditated hunt for a "victim". If the three knew each other from working in close proximity in the FQ, which is very likely, then why did LE need to ask the public for help in identifying MAS and TS in the Temptations video? This is where I think Jaren's case becomes just the tip of the iceberg- an mass of ice involving illegal drugs, possibly prostitution, and associations with organized crime that comes with life in a Bourbon St. strip club. That would explain a hesitance on the part of those from their scene to have identified the last two people seen with Jaren prior to the release of the video on the news. It would also explain why the Temptations dancer, whose conversation I overheard in line at a store in Metairie, was worried about her safety and was quitting her job at the club, in spite of the fact that MAS and TS were being held in jail in Tangipihoa(sp?).

And that might help solve other crimes linked to FQ dancers and/or TS's past and place MAS as only a minor character in a story much bigger than any she has ever created.

I think answers to three questions already posted in these threads would really help to move the case along. Had Jaren ever been to a specific location on the MS coast with other dancers or MAS before? If Jaren and her fiance were battling some drug dependencies, were they getting any from MAS or TS? And did Jaren carry any kind of knife for self protection?

I think you've hit on some important points. Jaren's death might or might not be related to a larger story, but it might serve as the catalyst to open a wider scale investigation. IMO. Just speculating. That has happened in other cases, and it's one reason people on the periphery go quiet. No one wants to open a can of worms, especially if you're a worm.

If JL's death is part of a larger operation, it might explain the lack of charges. DNA results can take quite awhile to come back from the FBI lab. Still, with two suspects in custody, and surveillance video showing them with JL the last time she was seen alive, it seems like something would have come up by now.

This might be totally unrelated, but it did make me wonder.

But you are not imagining. The rebuilt Long Beach pier was the only one I could find with wood pilings and a 3 horizontal support railing. Some of the piers were rebuilt with concrete pilings and only 2 horizontal support railings.

It does look like the pier in the pic taken from behind them where Jaren and her daughter are facing the water. You can see the post with the sign marking something at the end of the pier in both pics.

I have tried but can't seem to get the focus right. If I crop the pic it blurs the pier a lot, when I try to focus....anyway I cannot figure it out. But IMO it appears to be the same one.

LE knows a lot more then what he is releasing!

While looking for photos of piers in Long Beach, I came across a couple of pics of the Pass Christian Harbor.

IIRC One of JL's calves was discovered actually in the harbor itself correct?

Is it normal to find a lot of debris ~I'm not in any way, shape, or form comparing Jaren to debris, I'm merely asking to get a sense of what would be floating~ in a harbor? I'm not sure if location IS relevant but IF a boat was used could something from JLs body still be on that boat? Did LE look into this location at all? And does anyone in MAS family own any a boat(s) that are located or have ever been located at PCH(Pass Christian Harbor)?

TS showed up in FQ in mid December 2011, showed up on fb on Dec 26th 2011. From what I read on his fb, hooked up with MAS on March 4,2012. My feeling is he watched her and found her weaknesses and played her, he had a place to stay and hide. The end of April was their (marriage), May fired from his job, June a suspect in the murder of JL

IIRC, Jaren was not the primary caretaker of DD, she was under supervision. To take DD out of state she would need to say where she was going and how long to the person responsible for DD. If I am mistaken scratch my post and delete Mods. Was it a simple day-trip where she just spent a few hours on a beach or a getaway that involved needing a place to stay?

6/21/2006 to 1/27/2009- Terry Speaks was incarcerated in NC serving a percentage of his 4 year sentence he received.

** it is this intermediate time period which needs to be filled in which includes an arrest in California in 2010(I'll edit in exact dates for that arrest). I ALSO BELIEVE HE WAS IN FACT ALREADY IN NOLA DURING A PORTION OF THIS INTERMEDIATE TIME AS WELL**


December 2011- Terry Speaks is known to be in NOLA, specifically the FQ

Decemeber 26 2011- Terry Speaks creates his online Facebook profile under the alias Allen Rice I presume

March 4 2012- Terry Speaks and Margaret Sanchez are "married" in a ceremony that took place in the FQ. (*note that for reasons unbeknownst to me this marriage was not official thereby making Terry Speaks aka Allen Rice and Margaret Sanchez NOT LEGALLY HUSBAND/WIFE)

May 2012- Terry Speaks is terminated/fired from his position at Stilettos Club(next door to Temptations) for tampering with the clubs video surveillance equipment.

June 5/6 2012- Both Terry and Margaret are known to have been inside his recently former place of employment, Stilettos Club late night/early morning of June 5/6. While in Stilettos its alleged by atleast two of the dancers who were working that night that they were each at different times approached by Margaret Sanchez and propositioned with similar offers.. both state that Speaks sat back and allowed Margaret to approach and proposition the girls first with an offer to go home with the couple as a sexual "treat" for the husband(Speaks) ..when declined atleast one of the girls stated that Margaret seemed very intent on persuading the dancer to accompany the couple home, stating that she saw a "hunger and desperation in Margaret's eyes"..after relentless pursuing of one of the dancers, including even stationing herself(MAS) outside of the dancers dressing room.. her final proposition was for the young woman to go with the couple to a party across town that was in need of entertainment and that she would be paid $700 for this gig.. when she again declined she says that Margaret went back to Speaks where they briefly spoke and then left out of Stilettos Club.

June 6 2012- at 1:47am Terry Speaks and Margaret Sanchez are seen entering into the club next door to Stilettos, named Temptations ..

At some point very soon thereafter Jaren asks for permission to leave early from her shift that wasn't due to end til 3am..she states the purpose of her leaving early was for an opportunity to make $500 for dancing at a party(supposedly the party in east NOLA but no confirmation on that detail)

2:05am of June 6 2012- just 17 short minutes from the time they are seen entering into Temptations the couple are seen leaving the club along with Jaren Lockhart.

2:05-just shy of 2:30am June 6- surrounding businesses on Bourbon streets video surveillance shows the 3 adults walk several blocks and round a corner out of sight en route to what's believed to be Margaret's car which she regularly parked off of Bourbon St when working/frequenting the FQ.

June 11 2012- unannounced and unexpectedly the supposed husband/wife Margaret and Terry show up at a friend of Margaret's home..this individual is known to and been friends with Margaret since 2011 when both women were receiving psychiatric treatment at a local facility for bi polar.. Margaret / Speaks spent that night at the home of this friend, her husband, and their young daughter.. Margaret told this friend they'd been evicted from their home.. Margaret also on multiple occasions that night they stayed with the couple mentioned about the "stripper who got killed and whose body had washed ashore"..both Margaet/Speaks dyed their hair in the home kitchen of this friend (blue/orange)

June 12 2012- Terry Speaks and Margaret Sanchez were pulled over in routine traffic stop and were subsequently taken into custody in Tangipahoa Parish after being met with mild-medium resistance during the arrest..

I have always believed these particular photos were very recent due t the fact that
A) the age/appearnace of her daughter
B) I was under the impression this was the color/length/style Jaren's hair was in leading up to&at the time of her death
C) given the obvious time of year represented by clothes&the daughters age combined
..led me to conclude this was late spring/summer 2012 and was likely within mere weeks of Jaren's death...

As far as who else accompanied mom/daughter i do know there is also a pic of dad from this same day/time att the beach and if I'm not mistaken it appears as tho Jeremy was taking the photo himself of he, Jaren and their baby girl..thus leading me to believe it was quite possibly just the three of them there together at the beach enjoying family time..jmo.
