Or perhaps TS is just cocky enough to think he had gotten away with it and that there was no evidence against them.

However it happened, I am so glad it did. I would have happily offered to be MS's cell mate and get all of the info I could from her by playing up to her obvious need to be paid attention to.

Respectfully snipped by me.

I've always wondered what MAS said, thought, did during those weeks she spent in her Tangipahoa jail cell. Was a big part of her time spent in an intensive detox program and under psych eval? Did she have any cell mates? I also wondered if the delay in releasing her wasn't due to her family hoping the longer she sat the more time they had before she would get out and start talking- almost a protective custody for one of the prime suspects.

IIRC- the only charges against her were harboring a sex offender and obstructing the law and I don't think she was found guilty of the first. I still don't understand how there wasn't more physical evidence to charge MAS with murder or accessory at the time of her arrest- something unmistakable in her house, in her car, on her person that placed Jaren with MAS and TS at the time of her death. When should we expect to get the final results from the FBI lab and the Kenner LE's investigation? True justice can't come soon enough with another June just days away.

New details emerge in Jaren Lockhart's murder and dismemberment case

May 27, 2014

It was at the Otisville facility that two inmates volunteered that Speaks made incriminating statements, Kenner police Detective David Stromeyer testified. Neither inmate was identified, but both are seeking deals with the government in exchange for their information, detectives said. One provided "generic" information, while the second one gave specific details on what Speaks allegedly said, Stromeyer testified.

The informants told authorities that Speaks said he and his wife picked up a stripper at a Bourbon Street club, and used drugs and alcohol as they drove to a place near an airport, Stromeyer said. At the time Lockhart was killed, Sanchez and Speaks lived in a Connecticut Avenue home near Louis Armstrong International Airport, detectives said.

Speaks told one of the inmates that Sanchez and the victim got into a fight, "and that the female ended up dead," Stromeyer testified.

However, after FBI agents and Hancock County detectives interviewed Speaks at the New York prison last year, Speaks wrote an email to Sanchez on the night of July 5, Stromeyer testified. The content was circumstantial but highly suggestive, and it included Speaks angrily telling Sanchez that he "cleaned up the mess," but she was not jailed, that their use of drugs as an excuse would not work, and that more than one person's bodily fluids were in her panties. He appeared to threaten he would turn her in.

In another email, Speaks told Sanchez "the night in question was a very special night for them," Stromeyer said.

It looks like my questions about MAS's alibi and FBI evidence might be answered before the 2nd anniversary of Jaren's tragic death (although the article's date is a few days off the actual date Jaren was seen on video leaving temptations with MAS and TS.) *I can't wait to read TS's account once he finds out MAS's attorney has pointed the finger at him. I wonder who is on the MAS defense team?

(*May have posted a few seconds too soon because it looks like Speaks was ready to feed MAS to the lions if she turned over evidence that would incriminate him.)

The attorney for Sanchez said there is no physical or DNA evidence linking her to the murder. He claims the crime could have been committed by Terry Speaks, 41, who was with Sanchez when Lockhart disappeared.

This statement from MAS's Defense Attorney makes no sense. He claims the crime could have been committed by Terry Speaks, who was with Sanchez when Lockhart disappeared.

Now exactly what was MAS's role? Her attorney admits that she was with Terry Speaks when Jaren Lockhart disappeared. What happened after they left Temptation's Gentlemen's Club? Somehow I knew that MAS was going to try to throw TS under the bus, but she was part of this murder too - as much as he was and she knows it.

To quote MAS from the Final Witness Show: "What am I gonna do to get rid of the body?" She was speaking on behalf of Zack Bowen. But how would she know what he was thinking? Unless she was speaking on how she would have taking care of Addie Hall's body - like she and TS did to Jaren's body.

Kinda hard for MAS to throw TS under the bus when her alibi all along has been that she "doesn't remember".

Not only that, even if she didn't remember (which I don't believe for a sec), then why would she stay with TS after Jaren's body was found, if she felt he had done it.

Even is she thought she didn't do it and TS hadn't done it them why would they go on the run, avoid their home, dye their hair and tell all those lies about eviction, shut down her fb page, etc. If she truly felt she was innocent and claimed that Jaren was a friend, then she sure is a pisspoor friend for refusing to help LE in any way, never expressing any sorrow over what happened to Jaren. Heck I didn't even know Jaren and I certainly showed more concern, empathy and outrage over Jaren's death.

MAS showed no fear of TS and continued to support him, even after he was incarcerated. She knows she can't point a finger at him without also pointing it at her because she is just as guilty as he is.

I'm glad to see that this is all finally coming out and it will be nice to see these two vicious subhumans turn on each other in a vain attempt to save their own behinds.

They're cooked and TS knows it. Charge him with first degree murder. Ask for the death penalty. He'll be pissed again that MAS is getting the better end of the deal because he's getting the death penalty and she's not like he was pissed that he was in jail and she was free while all he did was clean up her mess. The divide is already cracking. Widen the divide. He'll flip on her and testify in exchange for life without parole and taking the death penalty off the table. We'll never hear the complete truth from either of them, but he'll roll on her enough that she won't have a choice but to plead guilty.

"I think the defense for this young lady is going to try and separate her from the co-defendant as much as possible," Raspanti said. "Whether or not he is able to do that, we will see. But I think that is going to be their point going forward."

Good luck with that.

KENNER, LA (WLOX) - During a preliminary hearing Tuesday morning, Margaret Sanchez's attorney told a Louisiana judge Sanchez was at work when Jaren Lockhart was brutally murdered. However, Hancock County deputies and Kenner Police investigators were able to convince the judge otherwise.

[...]

All the evidence contradicted the defense's story that Sanchez was at work when Lockhart was murdered.

It sounds like Sanchez was at work while Speaks cleaned the scene of evidence and possibly dismembered Jaren. The account in the article seems to put Speaks picking up Sanchez from work at 6pm and then the two drive to MS to dispose of the remains. I would think that they would have waited until the cover of darkness to head to the coast but I'm not seeing that in the article's timeline? It also sounds like someone else was at the "party" and may have even witnessed the stabbing or is that just part of LE's trickery to get others to talk? I can't wait to hear Speaks's attorney's side of the story and how he got the idea to horrifically dismember Jaren.

Timeline, per Hancock County Detective Steve Saucier's testimony.

June 6, 2012

2:05 a.m. -- The three leave the club

2:28 a.m. -- MAS's green Chevy Lumina is at Vets and Williams Blvd. JL's phone is turned off "immediately prior" to this time.

10:00 a.m. -- TS drops off MAS at work. "They both appeared tired, dirty, and they smelled really bad," according to coworkers.

6:00 p.m. -- TS picks up MAS at work. They drop off his dog with a coworker.

9:34 p.m. -- MAS's car crosses the Mississippi state line on I-10.

11:51 p.m. -- MAS's car re-enters Louisiana on I-10.

I've always believed that was the case.

Actually, they headed that way about 8:30 p.m.

I'll have to read again because I didn't catch the part about a third party.

And no one in that Kenner neighborhood saw or heard anything odd on that early summer day in June? I know when my neighbors are watering their lawns or putting out the recycle bin or fussing at annoying relatives on the phone. For once, I'm glad I have neighbors whom I know so well!

Respectively snipped by me.

Makes me sick!

Also on a side note...it made me literally sick to read that it was a "special night" for them!?!? Barf! I hope they get what's coming to them!!

JUSTICE FOR JAREN LOCKHART!!!

And I'm sure they're glad to have you as a neighbor, too. :) But who'd want to live next door to that pair? Most of us would keep our distance. Besides, it was a weekday. Most of the residents would be at work. I recall the neighbor on one side was a single mom with a few kids. Now, she might have been home on a summer day, but again, they'd had a problem with TS. I'll bet they stayed as far away from him and that house as possible. The neighbors were used to them doing weird "stuff". Remember one said that MAS sometimes walked up and down the sidewalk twirling her batons in the middle of the night? So even if they did hear unusual noises, they probably tuned them out. JMO

That's a great timeline. Thanks.

The only way the whole "I was at work" story even makes sense is if MAS admits Jaren was with them, that she was alive and fine when TS dropped her off at work, and when TS picked her up that evening he had already killed Jaren during that day. If that's the case, her amnesia is going to have to clear up pretty damn fast and she's truly going to have to roll over on TS. I'm gonna bet TS sees the writing on the wall and rolls on MAS first.

Really am surprised she's taking this approach as opposed to no approach at all or a "We dropped Jaren off and she was fine approach." She can't take that approach and "know" Jaren was murdered while she was at work.

RSBM

So Jarens phone was turned off within 30 mins of leaving the club? Does this seem just a little weird to anyone else?

I would understand setting it to silent but turning it completely off...??

I wish they'd charge him so he'll roll on her.
