Louisiana Man on Death Row Released After 27 Years

After spending 27 years on death row, Jimmie Duncan's murder conviction was overturned and he was granted bail on Wednesday, Nov. 26.

Jimmie Duncan was found guilty of first-degree murder in connection with the death of his girlfriend’s 23-month-old daughter, Haley Oliveaux, in 1998, Associated Press reported.

baby Haley was suffering with seizures and head injuries in the home, and then drowned in the bathtub? who wasn't watching her? the mother has a lot to answer for - she says her daughter died because she was sick but the judge says she drowned so again, who was not watching her in the bathtub?
