50-year-old Katherine Rodriguez was last seen by her husband Friday, May 4. He said she left their home in the 5500 block of Milton Drive about 3 p.m. and told him she was going to Kenner to withdraw money to pay her employees.

There is no 5500 block of Milton Drive in the St. Bernard area of New Orleans. It ends prior to the 2000 block where it turns and becomes Republic. Also, various news sources list her age as 50 or 51. I could not find any woman with that name and general age in the state and city records with an address in that part of the city.

My sister in law is a NOLA resident, she just text me about Katherine, she's on vacation at the minute but heard it through a few friends back home. Her house is only around 30 minutes from St Bernard.

I'm concerned, as always, whenever we see "last seen by Husband". Especially when so many days have already passed.

When was the last time anyone else saw Katherine? Spoke with her? Even received a text from her? Did anyone else see her leave that home? Reach the ATM? Was the cash ever withdrawn?

When did he report her as missing?!

Lovely lady. She reminds me of a friend of mine. I would say in this case, perhaps a robbery gone bad is more likely, But the circumstances are certainly concerning either way.

IF she left that house, someone must have seen her. I'm gonna go walk Milton on google maps.

Ok, I'm walking Milton.

(Judging) But, one end looks quite nice, nice buildings, upkeep of the roads and sidewalks are good, people clearly look after their properties. A couple community buildings? Or apartment blocks?. There is a little play area there, an Educare, maybe kids would have been coming out of school soon? So I would imagine not a quiet area at 3pm? Bus stop nearby. And a community theater. And then ends up breaking off into other streets. But the other end, maybe looks a little rougher? And also more isolated? It virtually ends out in just an open space before really ending at the Bayou St. John - Which is kinda concerning, hugeeee water.

It's honestly a surprise that both ends are the same street.

NOPD searching for woman reported missing from St. Bernard area

According to the report, her husband said he saw her before she left to go to Kenner to withdraw money to pay her employees.

Police said she was scheduled to return home at 4 p.m but her husband has not seen or heard from her since that time

Just a guess that since NOPD is investigating that it is Milton Street which is by the St Bernard Housing Project the area is called St Bernard different than St Bernard Parish. There is no 5500 believe it may have been a clerical error, whom knows kind of strange. From there to Kenner should take about 15 mins depending on traffic ...

Seems like her husband knows what ATM she would use and LE could check the camera?? She looks great for her age. A lot of questions but unfortunately not enough info being given out 😟

I can't find an update but if she lived in lakeview, Kenner is not exactly close to go to the bank. I am closer to Kenner than lakeview and wouldn't have a bank in kenner. So either it's a credit union type thing or something is off.

Since early May there are no further reports on her missing, but also nothing else to be found. So is she still missing or just not updated? Hm...
