The Shreveport Police Department is asking for help locating a missing man who was reportedly last seen at LSU Hospital or possibly a shelter.
Kevin Mitchell, 42, was reported missing by his mother, Eva Mitchell, on Sunday, May 19.
His mother told police that she had not seen or heard from him since April 12.
The missing man was reportedly last seen at LSU Hospital on May 16, just days before he was reported missing. Police also say that the man may have been seen at a shelter, located in the 2300 block of Levy Street.
Kevin Mitchell is described by police as an African-American male who is approximately 5-foot-9 and weighs 210 pounds. He also has brown eyes and black hair.
It’s unknown what clothing he was wearing when last seen.
