LA - Man tries twice to pick up preschoolers

The plan is pretty much not let an unauthorized person have a child, protect the children and staff, and get him out of there. IMO
Sure you try to see the vehicle or whatever and you call LE,

But IMO you don't keep him there at all. Your main concern is protecting the people in that building. Not, trying to stall him and take the chance of him harming anybody.

I was going to post a similar thing. I worked in an elementary school, and worked on the playground for recess and lunch. THe last thing I would have done would be to try and keep that guy there. I have to think about the kids there right then and put their safety first. I did have a walkie/radio, so I would have called for help, but even then the first order of business is to protect the students. Of course we would also call 911 and hope the cops could find hm.

Why are we just now hearing about this incident? It happened a week ago. I haven't seen anything in the New Orleans news, and when you have a predator on the loose who's as brazen as this guy, I think it should be reported across the state, or at least within a 150-200 mile radius. Schools have to be alerted. This situation is being taken too lightly, imo.

WOW. Seriously, a week-plus?? This guy needs to be caught PRONTO!! He is determined to take somebody's child - anybody's!

The audacity. The gall.

A rose? Oh he's got serious problems.

Got the child's name off artwork posted at the school? Hmmmmm, I never thought of that one. It's come to this? "Hey kids you can be proud of your drawing, but don't dare put your name on it"

Again, a rose? What he was going to take the kid on a date?

Something similar happened to us when DD was maybe 9 years old. Some man went to the office to give her something he made. School had been over and she was home when nutter went to the office. The Nun called us and my dad was over there lickety split. Some freak. The Nun engaged him in conversation until my dad got there. I can't say what my dad did. I was with him, but I stayed outside. Thank goodness he was a cop is all I can say.

Be safe littles in Baton Rouge.
