I was going to post a similar thing. I worked in an elementary school, and worked on the playground for recess and lunch. THe last thing I would have done would be to try and keep that guy there. I have to think about the kids there right then and put their safety first. I did have a walkie/radio, so I would have called for help, but even then the first order of business is to protect the students. Of course we would also call 911 and hope the cops could find hm.The plan is pretty much not let an unauthorized person have a child, protect the children and staff, and get him out of there. IMO
Sure you try to see the vehicle or whatever and you call LE,
But IMO you don't keep him there at all. Your main concern is protecting the people in that building. Not, trying to stall him and take the chance of him harming anybody.
