Circumstances of Disappearance:

Grant borrowed $10 from his mother in June 1991 and vanished.
Police were told Grant had a history of drug and alcohol abuse.
Two years after his disappearance, his mother told police that she had gotten several phone calls from people who said they'd seen her son in Baton Rouge. The last caller said he'd spotted Grant walking down Madison Avenue.

Details of Disappearance
Grant was last seen in Baton Rouge, Louisiana sometime during mid-June, 1991. He borrowed ten dollars from his mother and vanished afterward. Two years after his disappearance, Grant's mother got several telephone calls from people who claimed to have seen her son. The last caller said he'd seen him walking down Madison Avenue in Baton Rouge. None of the sightings have ever been confirmed. Grant's case remains unsolved.

Strange case with little information to corroborate...since it was related to drugs, some gang was after him or some drug dealer...he could have been mistaken for someone else as well...many times cases involving people of color are not given the emphasis they really need...I'm referring to TV, radio, newspapers...
