LA - Michael Noel, mentally ill man killed by deputy

  • #201
No, he is not in control of his thoughts or actions. That is what makes it very dangerous and volatile for the officers to deal with.
So if you have a really high fever and you're hallucinating and violent as a result, and your family calls 911,the police arrive first and shoot you because they can't get you under control, that's justified?

Just as some think that all shootings by LEO are bad shootings, no matter what the circumstances. They're quick to attack LE before getting all facts and even after the facts prove there was no wrong doing. I've seen it many times here on WS.
I don't think anyone really believes that.

If the police want to shoot you the police get to shoot you. This is what I've learned from reading her comments for the last two years. They have a loaded weapon and absolutely anything you do can be seen as threatening, especially if you are a black man. Because black men kill so many police officers, right? Police officers are always afraid of them.

In conclusion, if you are a black man shot by a police officer it is your own damn fault. You should not have been: driving, smoking, possessing a cell phone, reaching to put your hands above your head, running away, talking to yourself, holding a pencil (yes, pencil!), confused, bipolar, schizophrenic, deaf.

Well, hopefully none of her loved ones has a crisis and is killed by police. I guess it would be ok though, since the cops ARE NEVER WRONG.

Again, we can admit when parents, teachers, doctors, etc., are wrong. Not police. Makes no sense to me.
