Trying to pull up street view of Courville but it's taking a bit.

From satellite, I was trying to zoom in on the "2nd house on the right," and what got my attention...white trucks.

I don't know. Maybe street view will show us something.

Street view didn't show a whole lot more b/c you can't go down courville road. It's shows a dead end sign, but if you back out again and follow courville---it's not a dead end right away. Do you know if this is close to the area of the bike at all?

Where would the runaround route be? can you give me a pt A and pt B to go on? Bayoubecky and I did try to turn around on st landry to azalea; it was not easy and probably took longer than what appeared in time frame (although if you could give time frame it would be easier to figure out). Becky, we did not try turning around in the funeral home, but there was a circular driveway that would have been easy to do a turny in at 2 am. but would there not have been cameras?

I don't know where it could be, was asking you gals lol.

I've sifted through these threads, and I haven't seen anyone elaborate on this news:

One of the vehicles, a white pickup truck, was immediately recognized by Tasha Patterson, a Lafayette woman who said she was approached two months ago by the vehicle while riding her bike and the driver, a middle-aged white man, offered her a ride and then asked her to have sex with him for money.

“He says he rides around town all the time trying to pick up pretty girls,” Patterson told ABC News affiliate KATC, although it’s unclear whether she accepted the ride.

Closer than Lafayette, yes. Breaux Bridge is east of Lafayette. But not as far east as the Whiskey Bay exit.

Can someone tell me what they think they see in this picture? (Lifted it from thread #10). I'm trying to follow Shelly's line of thinking from that thread but not succeeding. View attachment 22850
Mamamia54 can you help me explain our line of reasoning here. I will start but feel free to jump in with me. This is a picture of MS on Versailles. To get to this point she would have had to have left BW home, taken a left on parkside. We are suspecting that while on parkside, she could have seen a vehicle ahead (if it were me at night and no vehicle was ahead of me, I would have continued up parkside to university and taken a left and rt to st landry. IF She did see a truck, she may have gotten spooked and said " no , I will not go straight on parkside where there are no entrances to homes and there is nothing but a coulee"; instead I will take a left on Versailles. This explains why she would be going OUT OF HER WAY to circle back to university and st landry. Taking a left on versailles would have put her by security cameras on bank, school, church. She was being smart IMHO. We suspect there is a car turning from parkside rt onto Versailles that you can see in back on MS. It looks long; not like a truck. Looks like the shape of the OLDS 98. Does not look like a truck. That vehicle (olds 98?) could have turned rt onto versailles and followed MS to see her take a RT on ST jean (ST JOHN). Again, MS was trying to go where she would be seen; there are lawyers offices on the left and a church on her rt before she would get to university. We think the OLDS 98 seen on University may have been following her from parkside/versailles intersection and onto St Landry. Where did this OLDS 98 go after that?

That news outlet needs to do more investigative journalism :what:

She - well, okay, her mother - said as much on national television on Nancy Grace last night. She took the ride from the man. He offered her money for sex. She said no. He dropped her off at Walgreens but not before telling her that he regularly trolls the streets for pretty girls.

Some people will make posts elsewhere about possible visions they may have and the way you worded what they wrote sounds like someone's vision to me. Not sure I have a lot of faith in the visions as I haven't seen any where they have come true but you never know.

Thanks and I agree. Could be someone playing games, too. He followed with saying to check "the bayou that runs along ko dupuis road, 70517".

Megsy, it is not this picture that you should be focused on. Go back to the last thread #10 and see where there is a pic posted by mamamia54 with a box in it. In that box, is a car. at parkside and versailles. Mamamia54 would you be so kind as to post that pic again in this thread?

Is there a reason I don't see many posts about someone possibly after her (that she knew on some level)? There is always one person who hates the person everyone loves. Sad but true. In my mind, it's either that or someone who has done it before or has very good planning skills. Didn't she often ride this path home---enough that her path would be known by someone else as well?!

I don't know about the rest of ya'll, but I am so confuzzled about the route she was taking...where the pics are...where the cars are...where she is. I'm frustrated that the images were just thrown out with really no explanation of what's what. How in the world is it supposed to jog anyone's memory when it's all so vague.

What about a turn around here?

I wouldn't say "in the area," but Breaux Bridge is the next city over from Lafayette on I-10 East traveling toward Whiskey Bay.

i haven't been following the pictures much, so i'm not sure what you are trying to see, but what i think i'm seeing is mickey on her bike in the top right corner and what looks to be a VW jetta or similar in the bottom right corner. but i'm sure that what i'm seeing is wrong because i haven't heard any talk of a jetta.:waitasec:
On the other side of the street from that Jetta are car headlights; there is a car truning rt onto versailles from the intersection of parkside and versailles. A car MS could have seen when traveling toward it from the other side of parkside; a car she was trying to avoid meeting head on.

Not sure what it means or is referencing but good grief... Y'all aren't lying about everyone owning white trucks... Just look at that picture... One at almost every house.

I thought the same thing lol Did you notice the canoe down courville a little ways? It is a creepy area!
