What we don't know is how the camera at about 220 St Landry records...if it's continuously or, if not, how often it refreshes.

We have confirmation that that camera at 224 records continuously.

 • #642
That is correct. And that camera is located about 20 seconds via bike from where the camera that took the last pic of MS is located.

Ok, thank you all. Now, I'm going to refer to google earth, even though it's old, and see where this dirt bag grabbed her. I've been keeping up pretty well even though I'm not there, but had to just back away and cook for awhile the last few days lol. Too many posts just flowing freely.

They have not said specifically that she didn't appear on the camera at about 220 St Landry. They have said that the government building camera that looks at Circle K is the last place she was seen. What we don't know is how the camera at about 220 St Landry records...if it's continuously or, if not, how often it refreshes. The camera appears to see maybe about 8 carlengths of the car in the pic, so that's about 30 feet. So we don't know if LE are sure that she didn't pass 220 St Landry or if they can't be sure because the camera may have missed her.
I believe a poster here, ACI, said that camera is a Like a movie camera, it doesn't take snapshots. He did not say how he knows this but he intimated he spoke to the owner of the camera.

We don't know what they have from 224 St Landry, but LE has said that the Circle K was the last siting of Mickey, right?

Thats what they say. But they are currently going through a lot more footage from that camera

There's a current scandal brewing here in lafayette about drunk drivers being ticketed but then let off with a slap. A huge percentage of them. I think it was something ridiculous like only 3% go to trial.

I believe it, and I believe it's not just Lafayette!
Right. I think she went down Brashear. I think it's a quiet ride usually and we usually ride our favorite routes.

I could be wrong tho, I plan on doing some riding in Lafayette in the next week or so. Hmm.

B

It seemed like she was close to the right curb, looking to go straight. How far is it from the last known pic of MS (Circle K/Municipal Bldg)to the corner of Brashear?

Disclaimer: I don't bicycle and I live very, very far away.
She wouldn't have been looking toward Brashear just yet. A bit too far away.

I've been "walking" that block on google earth all day. I got nuthin'

Yeah, you were starting to fizz last night. Let check if it's still intact:

TRUCK! TRUCKTRUCK! :skip::bricks::slapfight::gasp:

And let me tell ya, I don't fizz easily. I just want facts. I will work out a route with those facts. It just wasn't happening with all the truck talk, couldn't even focus.

 • #649
Hey, it's ok, I had to back away from the computer for awhile myself with all the white truck talk, either that or I would have blown a cork lol.

Me too...have been rolling eyes in silence all day...

I thought that was a different camera. ACI, did you confirm that the camera at 224 St Landry records continuously?

Correct. It films in real time, meaning it has a very high framerate

Question for WS vets... I've noticed a TON of "my friend in LE" rumors surrounding this case. So far, NONE have come close to panning out. Is this typical when discussing these investigations? Have you seen this type of thing before?

Looks like Brashear is still 250 to 275 feet away

Just beautiful, sweet little creatures that I've been kissing since late last night lol. Thank you for asking.

So...is conventional wisdom that whatever happened happened after MS cleared (passed) the Municipal Building lot on St Landry? Given the number of cameras on the lot behind the building?

Yup

Then they grow legs (the rumors) and are treated as fact

I seem to miss all the action today

I was wondering this as well as why some people are able to get away with "my friend such and such" posts and others are deleted immediately. Though I understand the value of trusted sources (though even MSM can contradict itself), it doesn't matter to me because I like to read the rumors and speculation but it seems the more interesting ones are the first to go...
