get in the truck, ill take you to the hospital.... thinks about how his life is now destroyed on the way and then (whack)... hides the body, goes back to get the bike and check for any evidence... dumps bike off bridge on the way out of dodge...

plausible...

which begs the question ...would LE have reviewed LUS (or others on st landry) cam recordings an hour or more farther along, say 4 am or so

This would not have been his first rodeo though...

Bingo. He's drunk, hits her, panics and disposes of her body and any evidence because he's already facing charges, he doesn't want more tacked on. I hope I'm wrong.

That would have been on Thursday. And do we know if those pics were taken May 21st, or uploaded to FB on the 21st? Bike was found Saturday the 23rd. Guess they could have gone out, dumped the bike, and then caught some fish?

can someone post an unedited pic of this for me...?

That seems to be the consensus. Had he not already been inthe other wreck, he might have acted differently.

I like my own theory, It fits a lot of things. i was always bothered by the idea that maybe the perp launched at Whiskey Bay. Seems such a risk to launch and dump right there. But... come at Whiskey Bay from the back side.. from Butte La Rose, and that answers a LOT of questions re the bike, and re secrecy.

He would have had to cross under I-10 at the Atchafalaya Visitors Center, but it does not look like traffic and people can get as close to the river there as they can at Whiskey Bay.

no sweat.

I'm thinking that if a local perp did it by boat, that's the most likely route to avoid detection.

let go ...could mean to be observed to see what he does

how long was he held? do you know?

Goodnight for me too. Early search!

What if Mickey was alive but in bad shape after a accident with a drunk driver? Perhaps she is unconcious. Instead of calling an ambulance, they get her in the car with the intent of taking her to the hospital. Perhaps she dies in route or along the way panic sets in and they decide to take her elsewhere. Maybe they thought they could take care of her back at his house. Everybody is very drunk and not thinking clearly. She dies in the car or back at their house. This might explain why the body and bike were not left at the scene.

Hey isn't that a Lifetime movie?

So past my bedtime. Goodnight.

It's my understanding that neither one of them died. Last I'd heard, the man who turned the gun on himself was in critical condition and his friend, whom he shot, was hit in the arm and it was not life threatening. Please correct me if I have the wrong info.

you have the same info i do... aside from the fact he fired 5 shots at his FRIEND... then shot "himself" in the chest... the info i seek is WHY... why?

im just not getting it...

i need some sleep

He is cleared.
With all due respect, Laffytaffy, there is a big difference between being released after questioning, and being "cleared".

Good night! Bless the searchers... set your alarm clocks!

I just can't imagine being drunk enough to wanna drive over calling an ambulance, unless they were gonna drop her off near a hospital and bounce.

Hey Bessie, hand is seizing up!!

You may want to go back to Pg. 28 and read forward. I think I'm onto something as to how the bike got there..... a pretty good theory, i think.

I totally Agree. What I got was "they let him go it's not him".
