The pic of MS also shows bumpy stuff by her...what appears to NE her in the other pic under the truck.

I think the bumpy stuff is her shadow being cast by the Circle K lights.

What about at the Taco Bell? Are there any cams there that may have caught her turning onto Johnston? IF, she got that far.

Not that I saw. The cameras at taco bell and burger king had both seemed to be focused on the drivethru and their own property with no real view of the street.

I've taken a lot of time this morning to give good info and photos.

The "bumpy stuff" is the road where it changes from fresh asphalt to old concrete. The new asphalt is smeared onto the concrete.

Here it is again :waitasec:

Good idea, but not necessary. Photos of any vehicle hitting that bump will do, from ground level. Honestly, i don't need another picture. The screencap from the WS members' video, combined with the released photo of the truck, tells the whole story.

I am thinking of those who don't want to let go of the idea that she is under the truck. I was convinced a long time ago.

I swear Mammamia the longer u look at that pic u can see the person in the front seat and the dog in the back...

The person appears to have sunglasses on!
The dog you really see the nose and the eyes and the ears!

By the way, it's not LUS. That's Lafayette Utilities System. It's LCG = Lafayette Consolidated Government....

Yep! That is where I go to drive through when I pay my LUS bill.....I am always calling it LUS instead of LCG!

See y'all later.

Is there evidence she was closer to home? This would be a major change.

I don't know of any evidence on the location of where she went missing. They have her on camera near the circle k which IMO only shows that she was there. That doesn't tell us much!

Obviously the man in the white pick up that gave the young girl a ride and propositioned her is a pervert and should be investigated. But, if he was a
kidnapper or serial killer, the girl would have not been dropped off at Walgreens.

I appreciate your opinion, Foxfire. But I cannot rule out that the time of day may be a factor in how far someone may have took a situation.

We all have our assumptions/suspicions/hunches out of information we each gather and it just takes ONE piece of solid/confirmed info to explore other possible senerios.

I would just like to know simply if that story was ever verified or not?

I do have a question for all of you about the truck. In the pic of the truck turning left onto university, in the rear glass, is that a reflection of one of those chevrolet decals that they put on trucks sometimes? You have all probably reviewed that already, and I am late to the forum. Sorry if I am asking something you have already discussed.

She's probably somewhere behind in the thread. When she catches up, I hope she'll see my multiple requests and we'll learn more.

Driving this thing is like trying to turn the Titanic!! Got to turn the helm a looonnnng way in advance and wait for something to happen

Question-Did Mickey have a light on her bike?

  • #854
Who knows huh? The only thing I can think, is that if the tire marks were fresh that may lead to a truck tire, but then ya have other trucks that probably go there also, and also, someone had to already have been in that area where they located the bike, unless it was located by a boater. I just don't know.

The bike was located by a boater. Do we know if the tire tracks led up to where the bike was found. This information would be important especially if the tire tracks are off the beaten path.

Yes. Front and rear facing lights are required by law here. Mickey also had auxillary flashing lights on her wheels.

I think the media and everyone here is focused on St. Landry because thats where she was last seen by camera. I agree with you that early on it was believed she made it a lot further down. That's why i've stated I won't be surprised if it happened closer to her home.

IMO, Mickey was intercepted enroute and then followed, soon after she left ryan st., and you're prolly right, it could have happened closer to her home.

Been researching violent crime in the Lafayette area, carjackings, robberies, murders etc. 'wow'!

We only know what's been reported, nothing more, unfortunately.

I don't know who it would be verified by. It's my understanding that she did not fill out a police report at the time, and that she only came forward with the info when the VOI's in Mickey's case came out. There was chatter about ID'ing the trucks, some thought one of the white trucks was a GMC Sierra Texas Edition, and this suddenly TP is telling her story, insisiting it was a Sierra Texas Edition that picked her up. Then, the VOI in Mickey's case was ID'd NOT to be a Sierra Texas Edition. So, not saying the girl is lying and just wanted attention, but if she's telling the truth, her story has nothing to do with Mickey's disappearance.

I don't know if you've all discussed this-but-if the perp dropped her bike from the bridge wouldn't the lights break and maybe thats why LE think the bike was placed their as the lights are NOT broken!MOOC
