But I find it hard to believe they have no clue they are "wanted," unless they are offshore and have no access to communication. IDK. They have to know. They are Mickey flyers EVERYWHERE...and if they are involved, I'm sure they've seen the flyers, and then decided to check local media to see what was said, and there would be a pic of their truck right there. They MUST know they are wanted for questioning.

Looking at pictures of both trucks something stands out to me that is different and I can't put my finger on it ( other than possibly wheels) but I think it might be that truck going same way is not a 4 door-- well not with the handles on the outside anyways. Any thoughts?

I think the perp very well knows they are wanted for questioning and that's why the owner of that vehicle has not come forward. Interesting that the other vehicle owners were found and were cleared, but not the owner of this truck.

But, just maybe, this truck owner has been found and has been questioned. Back to Sierra's case again, they had a vehicle impounded weeks before even releasing the photo of the jetta. They released the picture of the jetta and everyone thought they were still looking for it, when, in all actuality, they already had it, already had a suspect that they were watching and WHAM! an arrest that shocked most on this forum.

The most interesting thing about this case is they have video of Mickey riding her bike home. In 99% of cases, there is no picture or video of the victim just before the crime occurred. Add on the fact that they potentially have the perp and the perp's vehicle on video too in the same vicinity of Mickey.

I do believe the perp will be found. However, I am very saddened that my hope that Mickey is alive is not very high and her being found may not happen either as in many cases.

The article clearly states they are going to Meridian, MS. http://www.katc.com/news/equusearch-suspends-search-efforts/

Linda is from Gallman, MS, which is 119 miles away from Meridian.

I think they have a new girl.

eta: "new girl" as in, not Linda from Gallman. This is NOT anything negative about TES, just in response to several previous posts about where TES is going next. Just to clear that up. I am NOT bashing TES! I have great respect for them after working with them on Mickey's case!

Looking for the MSM article that said they were looking for "the driver of the Z71". Pretty specific. Made me feel like they had the truck but couldn't prove who was driving.

You can't see the the door handle on the truck going in the same direction as Mickey because the sign is in the way, but according to LPD, it is a 4 door.

Quote from LPD: "The second truck (Picture2) is a white 4 door Chevrolet Z71 that traveled in the same direction of Mickey on St. Landry Street."

Could be. We all must remember too that even if they did have the truck, it would take weeks before getting forensics back on it. We may never know if they found it or when they find it. LE isn't going to release that just in case that vehicle and owner had nothing to do with Mickey going missing. They, more than likely, will not release this info until an arrest is made or they announce a POI in the case, which is rare nowadays for LE to even announce a POI or suspect.

I am confused as to what pics you are looking at. We only have one pic, of one truck. The other one has been cleared.

There is a ' ground level ' picture now and the distances don't add up to be where the new asphalt and old concrete begin. The whole truck, let alone the tires, are behind it.

MOO

Great job, Saint Streets. It's photo three of the five (under-cam) that gave so many trouble because they were confusing the parking lot driveway with a street intersection.

And they know this b/c they have it on video, before it was blocked by the sign.

If the person in the white truck is not from LA, it is totally possible that they are unaware of the search for the vehicle. Not everyone pays attention to missing persons cases or even the news in general.

Yes but as speculation goes some were saying they thought it was the same truck. Trying to determine what I think is all...just having a hard time pin-pointing what is bothering me about it.

Yeah, they add up, it's the angle where the city hall cam was that took the Z 71 picture that makes it look like a distance difference, looking downward at the spot.

Right. Remember we were scrambling around trying to ID the make/model of the "Caddy" turned Olds. Chicken Fried made the flyer, the flyer got put out and spread around, and then suddenly they were telling us that they had already ID'd and cleared both that car and the other white truck. Maybe, if not for everyone passing that flyer around, LE would have never even told us they had cleared it. Maybe they just made the annoucement so we'd hush.

curiousc, i agree with you that this will be solved, especially with SO MANY PEOPLE having taken Mickey's case to heart. My only fear is that since everyday the police are retreating more and more and the news coverage gets less and less, that it will take longer than it should. I understand the media coverage getting less and less, thats the media, they have to go chase other news to stay in business, but the police?? all of these people here posting and out everyday searching pay the police for a job, that job is to work in the best interest of the public, if the public does not want the police to give up, they have no right to do so. they can not start complaining about funds, it is not thier funds to make those type of judgements on, all of those funds belong to the people, not the police.
