I'm trying to get my motor running today . Was up too late. Working three angles at once and I need to refocus. Map 2 is going to be the next part of Mickey's reported usual route, backed up by a statement I obtained in person from an roving indoor/outdoor security guard who saw her often on her 2-a.m. route and had the sight line to see Mickey turning left from St. Landry to St. Julien toward Johnston - NOT the night in question - and any cameras I see on it.

<modsnip> I am tossed up today with what I was going to do, and now having to go down to Blackham and ask CS in person. Roll with the punches.

Looking forward to the update. :)

Darn. I was hoping to spray myself and do some super sleuthing.

i just imagined you literally spraying yourself and suddenly becoming invisible to cameras. maybe that's what happened to MS?!

No, I just never put it on at all. Its in my backseat in case I get pulled over and need to show it.

And that flys with whoever pulls you over? Assuming you've ever been pulled over that is.

nm: I see question already answered.

The only thing you can do and if the question isn't answered, oh well for us.

Can't be any less valid than some of the stuff I've come up with.

Do you think it's possible that the dive teams recovered evidence that LE doesn't want to disclose? It was the last major news story in this case, and now the search efforts have been significantly scaled back. Why do you think they haven't searched landfills?

I honestly have no idea if they did or not. Its very possible they have some good evidence (and probably likely, just from the bike and handgrips alone). I guarantee LE's search efforts have NOT been scaled back. Its just not being reported as much.

And I don't know that they haven't searched the landfills. I know nothing about that. But believe me, they are searching all over the place.

New article from katc.com:

Acadiana Nascar driver posts Mickey's picture on car

Acadiana's own Buster Graham, is planning to have Mickey Shunick's picture on the hood of his car during the ARCA Racing Series next week at Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania. "When my 18 year old daughter mentioned supporting the rescue efforts for Mickey, I knew it was the right thing (More)

At the very least I would think LE would search the landfill early-sooner than later with the dogs for best results. Unless, the info they are holding close to the vest points in a totally different direction. We have seen the large scale water efforts.

The thing is: Mickey was an adult so I don't know how much sway her parents had over her. My children are 1 & 4 so I have no experience with adult children but I know there are things my parents don't want me doing... But as an adult, they can't make me not do them, KWIM?

My kids ar 14 and 24
the oldest is home for summer and can come and go as pleases i only ask to send me a text or call me if not comming home. Just so i dont worry!
Very easy to do!
I just feel very strongly that many of these girls would still be here with their families.

Whats done is done!

N E WAYZ!

Money?

It was probably way down at the bottom of the list!

Well then it's about high time the lives of our young people are put at the top of the list!

Its all about money. Thats why citizens need to take security into their own hands. Dont rely on old men in suits to protect you. Set up deer cameras in suspicious places like that. Put cameras on your home and businesses and encourage everyone you know to do so. That bypasses all the government red tape and bickering about costs. Protect yourselves. I said it before and I'll say it again. If more people had cameras on their homes and businesses, we wouldn't be wondering what happened to Mickey right now.
