New group could be TES; one must understand that others affiliated with TES work apart from Tim Miller, whose methodology is to work the media and keep the case (and himself, some might say) in the spotlight, and bring in initial organization and volunteers.

I remember once about a year ago TM was up in Ohio, or Indiana, or somewhere, in the news, while another TES group, quietly, with almost no publicity (save for a short mention in a San Antonio Express-News article), was searching the waters of Canyon Lake, north of S.A., for a drowning victim - starting at daybreak and working without fanfare, they were there three days; and did, in fact, find the drowned man, and thus allowed his family a bit of closure.

Unless she was murdered AFTER it was spread all over social media.....or possibly died in peeps vehicle in route to the hospital. She could have died on impact or at least been knocked unconscious. Making the accident into murder

Presumably, the route from where MS was last seen, to where her bike was found at WB has CCTV at many points in the 27mile stretch? Has, or is, this being checked for the WT?

T-boys wear either ball caps or cowboy hats & it's a safe bet the cowboys haven't been all that close to a cow. They also drive 80 in 25 zone to get to the river to talk about nada, & then look a you like you're an old crone but say 'yes, mam.'

I hadn't heard before now that TES was returning. They did not update the active case section on their website to including the missing girl they went to locate in Meridian. Perhaps this means she ended up being a runaway or in some other situation and not something so unfortunate. Whatever the case may be, I'm glad that they are able to return now. I have thought since yesterday, based on something CS said, that closure will be near.

What did she say that led you to believe this?

Yes, specifically TES. I'll try to find a link. He said a much smaller group from TES along with the K-9 dogs that are trained for recovery- especially cadavers and forensics.

Hmm. It's a long shot but I wonder if the psychology building or the math building (Gerard and Broussard if my memory is correct, which it probably isn't) have any sort of surveillance pointing toward Johnston. Hmm.

I've been looking for confirmation, but nothing so far confirming TES. A few articles state a search and rescue group out of Houston, bringing K-9s, starting tomorrow. So that might be TES or another Texas-based SAR group.

ETA: Looks like GulfCoastKAT heard TES confirmation.

I've been looking for confirmation, but nothing so far confirming TES. A few articles state a search and rescue group out of Houston, bringing K-9s, starting tomorrow. So that might be TES or another Texas-based SAR group.

The only other SAR group out of Houston I can think of is the Laura Recovery Center (named for Laura Kate Smither).

I just learned Mickey was NOT seen on surveillance cameras on the second half of Brashear (past the traffic barriers). The footage was reviewed before the VOI's were named so its unknown if they were. The problem I ran across today is that many residences no longer have the footage from that night as the cameras only store 7 days of footage.

But at least we now know she didnt get onto Johnston from Brashear.

I'm shocked at so many private residences having cameras.

I just don't buy it. If she was so reliable, they would've began freaking out when she was 10 minutes late. I am not saying they are involved. I am just saying that she may not have been as reliable and honest as they claim.

The mom and sister started calling around at 8 am that morning. That seems like a normal response to me for a 21 year old girl that had gone out the night before. It sounds like the woke up, she wasn't home, so they called around. They went to the graduation and she wasn't there so they called the police. I remember being 19 and my mom freaking because she couldn't get a hold of me for 12 hours when we were supposed to evacuate for a hurricane. I was in college at LSU totally oblivious that we were supposed to evacuate (my hometown was evacuating, not Baton Rouge). My mom was FURIOUS, but she didn't call the police.

Turns out I was hanging out with a crush for her first 2 calls and didn't feel like talking to my mom because I was so giddy to be with the crush. Then my phone died then I went back to my apartment and went to sleep. It was 12 hours but I didn't realize that she or my friends were calling. Ooops! I've never made the mistake of avoiding my mother's calls since then.
