ACI, please check closer to Brashear and Johnston, and from there on down Johnston to the Taco Bell. There is a large parking lot near the Chi Alpha Fellowship Building. And what looks to be a Papa John's next to the lot.

There is something that bothers me about the planned abduction theory.

Let's assume:
1) The perp is intelligent and organized and methodical.
2) He has some knowledge of her typical bike route.
3) He has driven the route at night multiple times, noting the best places to carry out the abduction.
4) He has planned this over and over in his head, waiting for an opportune moment.

Then why, for heaven's sake, would he do it in front of city hall!

I think anybody would know a govenment building would be well covered by outwardly-pointing security cameras. Particularly after 9/11. The corner is also well-lit with a busy convenience store nearby.

Would he even risk driving by the building? He might avoid that whole area entirely.

If this IS planned, I think the crime scene is somewhere else. And the Z-71 could be a red herring.

I recently read an excellent article during the Kelli Bourdeaux case. It discussed how a perp and victim cross paths in depth and I have been looking for it again but cant find it!

You may be right, that's why I won't look anymore at the truck, and instead look to where Mickey may have turned off toward Brashear. It may not be the white truck who was following her.

I found multiple cameras today on Johnston that have yet to be checked by LE or the owners. Also some close to her home not checked. Working on seeing all the video today

Have the owners given you any reason why? Why they haven't checked their cameras? More than two weeks have gone by :maddening:.

This guy may have driven the route many times to plan his crime. He could have driven it day and night. Planning.

I wonder if city hall video (night and day) from dates prior to May 19 has been examined?

If the same vehicle keeps turning up multiple times, particularly late at night, that could point to a VOI.

Someone who knew exactly where cameras were and were not is a possibility. A security company/tech service rep person, maybe.

Two or three people on here have tracked down cameras and angles and they weren't stalking someone for nefarious purposes.

The camera at 216 is hard as heck to find and well disguised behind a roof vent. A.C.I found it - I missed it completely, and I was looking hard for it on foot......

I doubt a perp would have found it.

Or just a love for biking. She does have a bike tattooed on her ankle. That stands out to me as a love/passion for biking.

BBM: IMO, this very fact makes me feel that the perp could have intimate knowledge of that building and it's cameras, and if so, would also likely know that WB hadn't had camera's installed. Do any city employees work nights? Either in that building or on the streets?

Perhaps this person is employed in a capacity where (s)he has "inside knowledge" of where cameras in this area are installed.

My initial thought here is "an employee of LCG" (tech guy, LEO, etc.), but as someone else mentioned, perhaps someone who specializes in video surveillance equipment.

Just throwing my two cents in-I think the fact that the white truck driver has not come forward can speak to maybe a planned crime!
the driver has to know LE is looking for them-that truck is in a garage or barn where it is not going to be found soon-justMOOC

I would think that anyone who had installed a camera at LCG, or anyone who had or is working for LCG, would have been looked at immediately, and ruled out, unless they drove that white truck. MOO

Do you remember being hot or cold when you were playing outside as a kid? I don't. I remember playing.

Biking five miles means nothing to a young, healthy person. Maybe parking is a problem, maybe she hates traffic.
