Well, well. I guess we can only hope that the information is valid, and that this isn't just someone looking to make a name for themselves by jumping the gun.

Honestly, though- if this is coming from a private investigator, and not jointly with the police, I have a more than a few doubts.

Hes been doing this for like 50 years. He's pretty ancient. I don't think he needs to make a name for himself. But if he takes credit for one of my leads I told him I was working on....Im gonna have words with that old man :furious:

How credible do you think this new is ACI?

I really have no idea. I don't think he would be willing to make a fool of himself in the news if it wasn't something he was pretty certain about, so who knows. Or unless its a ploy just to keep people happy and feel like theyre being kept up to date when it'll mainly just be a wild goose chase. Much like the generic Z71 it will be "Black Male. Six feet tall. Really good at Basketball..."

As far as I know, he hadn't seen the video either. Unless something changed and they recently showed it to him. By saying a "description" though, sounds like he's been doing some canvassing of people in the neighborhood that night and maybe got a description of someone from multiple people.

I would think that to make an announcement of this magnitude he would be darn sure it was information that the public needs to know. Is this information he gave to LE prior and they have refused to acknowledge it and so the family is pressuring Mr. PI to come forward with it?

I would just think that LE would want to announce anything important to the public-maybe no.
