So, if Mickey was stalked, who would she be stalked by, why no one else would be stalked is beyond me. There have to be so many people riding at night, just like she was.

I was surprised to see how empty it was on the streets where she was riding. Maybe other people try to stick to busier streets. I think she felt comfortable with this route because it was fairly close to campus and she probably biked it during the day, which gave her a false sense of security at night. MOO

Ok, So does anyone else think it eerie that CS just posted she was wrong, they are not searching in the boats tomorrow? And the posts from earlier stating they were going to have been deleted?

Were the canoe searches being done by volunteer searchers? If so, liability may have been an issue. I'm not sure what the canoe search involved. Thanks

With that said, her updated post sounds like they are not explicitly going to be doing a canoe-based search, but people can still bring canoeing equipment, and if it is deemed necessary that they search areas requiring canoes, they will use the ones that are brought. Phew!

No, stay positive. There could be other problems or activities that CS forgot. There is so much on her mind right now.

Just wanted to throw this out there, but the weather has been a bit unreliable lately, so maybe they are waiting for a day with less of a rain chance. It has rained pretty hard the last few afternoons and, in my area at least, there is a higher chance of rain tomorrow. Maybe it has nothing to do with the Bay St. Louis discovery, but everything to do with inclement weather.

Or, even if it does have to do with the individual found in Bay St. Louis, maybe they have been told by the LPD to check that out first, since some of the description of this woman fits Mickey. It wouldn't at all mean it is her.

Whatever way you see it, the poor girl found in MS is someone's daughter, friend, and maybe even mom. She deserves to be returned to her family and be laid to rest in peace, since the her last moments were probably truly horrible. I don't really know how not to cry about this. No one deserves that, no one.

I think they were getting (borrowing) canoes from Pack N Paddle. It sounds like they are still accepting volunteers that have canoes, so maybe it's just that Pack N Paddle wasn't able to take part "anymore tomorrow."

We don't know yet if the perps are 2 males, 2 females, or a male and a female. I know the default position in this scenario is 2 males and it probably will turn out that way if Abdella's information is credible. But we don't know for sure.

Because her stalker saw something about her he/she liked. I've wondered if that wasn't the case all along, but geez, I wasn't really wanting to hear she'd been stalked. This all but confirms they no longer see this as an accident turned bad. I am truly sick. If she was stalked, she stood very little chance because the stalker was likely patient and methodical. He/she waited for the perfect opportunity.
