:praying: Prayers for Mickey...

  • #702
Also lifting Jaren and her family up in prayer, as well.

  • #703
Joining in prayer from far away, I am visualizing all of us together, forming a circle of love and protection around Mickey.

:goodpost: That's been my favorite theory for awhile now, nola. As you said, it explains a lot.
Wouldn't she have known OLOL was closed? The nearest hospital would have been LGMC on college & Coolidge?

Good pics, chicken. Is the water the Pilot Channel?
I guess this is another of my stupid questions from watching too much CSI & L&O: why isn't that area roped off as a crime scene? Or have they already taken whatever they could use from that area? In that case can anyone put flowers there for Mickey? Sorry, but this last week is crushing my hope.

I'm not sure that a car junkyard would be a good place to dispose a body. Unless the yard is not actively used for parts and the body could be buried so that any odor is concealed. JMO.

Well, I wasn't thinking that either. Just that someone brought up Scott. And no, these are the kind of junkyards that are used for parts--I mean maybe the newer ones. But there are no telling how many acres of vehicles piled up that have been sitting there for years, I wouldn't think anyone goes back there regulary. It's really an eyesore. I never had any reason to believe she was anywhere around there but it was searched just the same to rule it out like everywhere else...I thought Whiskey Bay but obviously searches turned up nothing.

Where is Mickey?!

Thanks - dunno - gangs or kids with spray cans.

Gotta go eat!

Nothing I can add to what has already been said about this incredible work: ¡Que hombre!

Heard someone in a shop in Nola today say 'that torso murder.' I usually don't comment when I hear an insensitive remark. I did this time, I told her the poor baby's name, she has a name, y'know...

She would have, I am certain... I just didn't know that and overlooked it somehow in the previous post(s).

IF she were injured and was hurried into the perp's vehicle, she may not have had time to protest or think of other options before he had her subdued.

IF only the bike was damaged, then she could have accepted the ride home without ever thinking that she was putting herself in danger.

This type of perp can appear to be extremely non-threating and even make it seem less dangerous to let them help you. That's why this sort of thing happens too often. Smart people are outwitted by evil.

That area has been searched, including in the water, with divers. I don't think flowers would be appropriate since she wasn't found there and people are still hoping to locate her alive. JMHO.

I don't think ACI is trying to run you off - or anyone else for that matter. The WT discussion has just been taking center stage and its become obvious LE doesnt care about the WT or at the least does not care about clarifying it for the public. We don't even know that it was within 3 minutes because they gave no time stamps on the Circle K pics. It really has been beat to death in several of the past threads - lots of pics, maps, etc. if you want to check it out. All input, thoughts and ideas are encouraged - but everyone may have to agree to disagree about the WT.
Don't stop thinking, don't think that no one is paying attention, they are. I just noticed yesterday that the WT issue has exhausted so many of the BIG posters (long time w/ way more experience than me) that they don't even want to talk about it. Me, I don't be knowin do I keep banging my head against that wall till I get it right!

Thanks Chicken Fried:chicken: for the photos.

I am wondering if anyone in the area(from Layfayette to Wiskey Bay and beyond) are familiar with any gang activity?
Could this possibly have been an initiation?

My gut tells me someone that was familiar with this area and the time of day where no one would be around to see them dump the bike.

Sorry just brainstorming.

You're right, of course. I just can't figure out what do do except pray...I just don't see anything moving..I really hope she'll come home, I guess I'm just giving in too quickly.

I just recalled that a Lafayette friend told me that it rained the night/early morning of May 18-19 (Mickey's disappearance). If there was blood evidence on St Landry (or anywhere along her route), could the rain that morning have been enough to have washed it away? Locals, what do you think?

Update: Checking the weather history for Lafayette-- it looks like it may have rained on May 21 (Monday), not the night of the 18th. The rain may have occurred before the correct route was known or searched.

I don't know why but I don't have a gut feeling about that..I don't think the gangs in Lafayette would know an area used by fishermen that well. They're usually more urban than that. jMO

Thanks!

Yes.

BIKELOCATION.jpg

That may have blown the margins for some Apple users; I haven't resized my whole Photobucket album yet. Steve Jobs wasn't God.

Oh Chicken Fried - I loved you until you said that!! 😔

Thanks for your photos- margins worked ok on all my Macs and iOS devices.

So I can see a bike being brought there and hurled from that spot - easily - but what about a person?

Always..good is trusting, evil isn't, but it's both smart & stupid, smart to see the evil it does, stupid to think it can get away clean every time.

That's ridiculous! Why are people sooo insensitive? She was a stripper, but she wasn't a murderer! The person/people who did this to her are. And, even if people cannot rally behind her memory to find the suspects, they should be informed enough to know that many predators start with so-called "high risk" women.

Are gang related abductions that commonplace in the US?

Um ok. I suppose it is silly to try to get something as important as a truck which was seen on the same street that Mickey disappeared on within three minutes.

Since my input, thoughts and ideas in trying to find Mickey is unwanted and not needed, I will back away from her thread and just pray that her friends and family get the answers that they need.

:truce:

Sorry, I wasn't trying to be mean or run you off of the thread or anything. I was just saying there's page after page and thread after thread of discussions on the white truck. Any question or theory you may have about the WT has most likely already been answered and discussed thoroughly. I was just informing you that if you go back and read through old threads you'll likely find the answers you're looking for.
