OOh, I10 cameras, where are they?

I'm running errands at the moment do I can't ask her which way it was going, but the way she said it was as if it was going towards i10

Not fast enough through Lafayette to keep word of it from getting out ...

A six car escort to BR? Makes sense to me, if it is *the* truck.

I've never seen tow trucks in this area escorted by police cars. Only on the highway, and when they do that they have orange flags and every thing says wide load escort. This was not the case today. I'll find out what direction when I get back to work.

If this truck being towed was significant, I would think the local news would have something on it!

At some point .....

*sigh*

LOL, by now I thought some of you would have found some cameras somewhere with a view of this tow truck:):)

Excellent point! Where are the links to the cameras on every corner? Although I'm sure they're out of range by now.

So...if this is the VOI I'm betting it will take an additional FOREVER to get anything back on it or even an acknowledgement from LE

My coworker, on her way to work about ten minutes ago, saw a tow truck with a white 4 door Chevy with black handles.. They only thing that made her notice this was the six cop cars following the tow truck.

Just putting it out there....

Crossing my fingers, toes, eyes, arms, streets, hell, anything I can...

Why would there be so many LE cars behind it?

Would love to know where the truck was loaded on the pickup.

This is current from KLFY FB page:

According to the DOTD : An accident shutdown most of I-10 East at Washington in Baton Rouge. NOW The left lane has opened leaving the right and center lanes blocked on I-10 East at Washington. Congestion has reached La-415 on I-10 East.

Which would mean if this tow truck is heading to BR it may well get caught in that congestion. May explain the high amount of escorts, somewhat.

If they are coming to Baton Rouge, how long before crossing Whiskey Bay?

IMO, should be soon or just happened. That's 30 minutes from Lafayette.

WB is "temporarily unavailable" as in I10 at LA-77
