People go missing for many, many other reasons than being snatched by a crazed serial killer with a TV-movie-like obsession with photogenic women between the ages of 18 and 22.
Additionally, all of these women have gone missing in the span of less than a month, across a distance that's longer than that of New York City to Boston. Even if there is a serial killer working in the region, how active and mobile would this person have to be?
i think ppl think of a SK because DTL did some travelling. and i think at the end of it, he was the suspected to be involved with missing/murdered women in 3 states since the 90s.
then you add in Sean Gillis, the Houma SK, and the Jennings murders and ppl get a little paranoid.
