You need to write a book, or better yet, an anonymous website... hmm, I would pay my monthly fee to read your scoop!

ohhhh the stories I have.

"Shut up and take my money" <------that's what you'd say ;)

ACI, since you are an licensed PI here in La., LE won't allow you to access their database on the DWTIQ?

I don't have access to any LE databases, case files or info. I have a few LEO's I'm friendly with who share the occasional piece of information, but as far as full access.....nope

Also a perp....who doesn't know Ms like the Jennings serial killer who happened upon a college aged girl riding her bike through the bad parts of town may see her and assume she is a prostitute or drug addict....we're obviously talking about a perp who is not wound too tight mmmmk....so someone who thinks of an addict or a prostitute as deserving to die or not being missed or not having a reason to live could think that college age girl on bike at 2 am in bad part of town automatically means she's a prostitute or addict.....now.....we'really not talking about a rational thinking individual. I realty feel if you wana figure out a nutcases you have to throw rational thought out the window. If it sounds crazy he/she is capable o thinking it.

I think he was shocked to see the reaction Ms abduction got. Like oops I slipped and picked off one that people made a bigger deal over than the other 8.....

And another thing.....the Jennings serial killer has not killed in 2 or 3 years????? They need to rethink that because if it is someone inside le or ex le......he knows he needs to mix it up a bit to throw them off.....a "smart" one would apply his knowledge in such a way not to get caught...

If the bike was cleaned with bleach.......it was the Jennings serial killer....moo

I solved that case ages ago. Every 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 person in Jennings is the killer. I think so many people had a hand in those deaths it's ridiculous. But I digress....back to MS

IMO it's offensive to curse the people of Jennings and call them killers. All of them really?

Well not literally all of them. But you get my point. Lots of people involved

A.C.I.~

Do you scope out libraries as a way for perps to check up on themselves if they don't have the internet at home?

ETA: Or a place to even call home?

And in your opinion is the perp in the Jennings serial murders a cop or ex cop? Just yes or no....

yeah. lots of shady folk go to the public library. homeless people hang out in there all the time too. I keep an eye on it.

no serial murders. Drug dealers, their henchmen, cop assistance....

Lots involved IMO

Go read the Jennings threads when you get a chance. Very disturbing case with tons of interesting facts. I've followed it for a long time

I was just reading an article this minute that CSI is now the most popular show in the world...good grief...so many false expectations for the public and yet, still, clues for would-be criminals...

Straight up. Copying what they see on csi is not a good idea because most of that sh** is FAKE! ITS A TV SHOW!!! Some of it is not even nearly believable......if whoever abducted Ms copied C S O this would be over with by now........remember they catch EVERY SINGLE CRIMINAL ON CSI.....so if there is any truth to the TV show or the methods they use on TV...it only demonstrates how to get caught.....evidence doesn't lie and they will get you.....so no I do not believe ceiling is a very good way for criminals to learn tricks on how to get away with crimes .......only demonstrates that no matter what they get caught.

But the ways they are caught on TV are highly theatrical and it always seems as though the team only has one case at a time, which is hardly true. No real life forensics lab or detective team gives as much time to a case as they display on this show. So the chances of a criminal being tracked by such a team of experts is pretty slim, IMO. If they happen to find DNA, yay, they have a chance. But real CSI are not detectives who go out and interview witnesses, etc...the whole show is faked, IMO.

Good to know.
The things we see on a daily basis.
First day on the job I was asked "How many crumbs of drugs under the seat of your car qualify for possession of a controlled substance?"

And then the female SO came in.

Until very recently, I was unemployed and spent a lot of time in the public library in two major US cities. It really does attract the lowest common denominator, most of whom are looking for a warm and dry place to spend the day. It's actually pretty scary.

fairest of them all, Actually watched a talk show where Laurence Fishburne was being interviewed about this very subject. He said that they had to start changing the results of the tests due to the prisoners watching CSI. Seems it's very popular with them too..

There is also a CSI affect on jurors. Without forencics, it is very difficult to prosecute many cases.

'Yep, like the 09/11/2001 terrorists'..

I think Casey Anthony spent quite a bit of time hanging out at the public library when she was supposed to be working.
Just my theory.

With free wifi, it has gotten so much better.
It is more like a coffee shop--without the java.
Very community oriented.
It is crazy though. Sometimes I feel like a counselor, bartender, and babysitter.
The 🤬🤬🤬🤬, oh the 🤬🤬🤬🤬...

I suppose Mickey uses the college library mostly. Just wondering.

I've gone to the newer Southside Lafayette library several times and have felt uncomfortable having to walk through the many homeless people hanging out at the entrance. I guess I never would have thought that would be a hangout location.

Potomac River Rapist linked to 1996 attack in the District

By Clarence Williams, Published: June 14

Investigators have linked forensic evidence from a 1996 sexual assault to nine similar crimes — including the killing of a 28-year-old intern — believed to be committed against women by the same suspect, a man they have dubbed the Potomac River Rapist.

The link, discovered after DNA from a 1996 case in the 4900 block of MacArthur Blvd. NW in the District was recently retested, was reported at a Thursday news conference held by D.C. Police Chief Cathy L. Lanier and investigators and agents from Montgomery County police and the FBI.
