I know that this may be an outdated idea but I have seen in other cases that the family/LE sets up a PO Box for tips. Since phone numbers and email addresses can usually be traced and maybe someone is scared to speak up. Just wondering if someone that knows what happened would be more inclined to share if they could mail in a tip or information? Just a thought. I guess they could also use a pay phone? Or set up a new emai address? I don't know just trying to think about ways to get someone to speak up if they know something.

CONGRATS!!! I now have much more confidence in the process now that you're on board. That's so awesome of the anonymous donors, really shows how much someone can care for a girl they don't even know just like she's their own family!

if the member is a video forensics expert, then he/she need to go through the WS verification process. See the TOS. Enhancement is fine. Basic alteration is not.

I agree, and I think that although it may add more work for the poster (of enhanced photos), it could be worthwhile to have a brief description of their procedure. I think it might Be nice to know something basic like, "Images were sharpened to a resolution of ppi and resized using Photoshop." maybe I am too picky because image enhancement vs manipulation is a very important distinction in science.

No...don't even

Its no more absurd than anything else that anyone else has come up with and I am not being derogatory at all but Ms is a normal human being. Lots of normal human beings experiment and it goes no farther than that....it doesn't get to the point that it defines them.

I think it is a huge mistake to assume she is this saintly being that never made a mistake or got curious about drugs sex and the like......I have seen the matter of virginity questioned here....and quite frankly its a whole hell of a lot more likely that she experimented with "powder" once or twice than it I'd that she's a virgin......statistically speaking.....

She is a pretty girl and it is more likely than not she inspired some jealousy....she may have even unintentionally stolen a boyfriend or two or at least the attention of one or two......probably turned some heads at one time or another.....and she HAD TO HAVE turned down a few offers or advances....

Now that being said she hung with people who have been labelled as hippies and was college aged and partied a bit......willingly drank and sometimes drank too much as it has been incenuated she was hung over the night she disappeared

Didn't someone, I think chicken, take detailed pics explaining how to get there to the bike disposal site, one would think the amount of time needed to take the bike where it was found would preclude a hurried disposal. WB disposal for a local is a message. As a local poster said many threads ago, there are so many more places to use that are out of the way.

You get a very high likelihood that she experimented with drugs or made a drunken mistake or two romantically or otherwise.....

Sweetie, this is my educated & informed opinion: I know some of these victims' families. These aren't the same mixes of crowds, socio-economic, educated or otherwise. JD parish perp, IMO, wouldn't have needed to trawl Lafayette. MS is not the sort of girl who'd be on this radar. Of course I could be waaay off, but I'd take ALL the Lafayette posters to lunch if I am.

This idea is probably the reason why the case hasn't been solved yet. It's obvious they are all linked, but what if the link is they were easy targets. They died over a fairly large time frame. If it were drug or baby daddy related, wouldn't they have been closer together? If I were a Bundy-type serial killer, I'd want to go back where there isn't pressure to solve the case.



There's a very large difference between driving drunk and killing yourself in a car accident and being found nude and murdered in a canal.



Yes, but she was killed in Lake Charles area. That's about an hour away. There's another unsolved murder in Houma (about 45 minutes away)with the woman being dumped in a swamp. Alexandria is an easy 1 hour drive from Lafayette, so I think the missing women there could be relevant, and I counted 10 different cases of nude or partially nude women's bodies found dumped in Houston. These are also plausibly connected- particularly if there is some type of oilfield worker link.

If I look at it from that perspective- targets of opportunity in or near areas accessible to major highways near oilfield cities, it makes sense to me that there could be some type of serial killer.

Serial killers are also generally highly intelligent Sociopaths. Many avoid detection for a long time because they are smart enough to hide the clues, and to travel.

In Mickey's case, the white truck, to me, screams oilfiled. I know National Oilwell Varco and a few other service companies use Z-71 truck.

Do u know the story of Sierra? I live in LC & remember this story & was told by LE (I asked) if this girl has a baby daddy? She was found out in the middle of nowhere but clothed (JD8 have been found in humiliating positions & naked; LE proved that this case was NOT related to JD8...other factors I will not post, it's gruesome). The girls in the Alexandria area...3 of them have police records, in fact Brijet was wanted in a questioning of burglaries that occurred days before she disappeared. I found the rap sheet for Tina (in Mississippi & was arrested the weekend she went "missing"), the pregnant girl from Lecompte...nothing has been followed up in her, she wasn't from that area & LeCompte has a population of like 1,800...Merrell was found near Morgan City & her bf was held on questioning & last report I red was still in jail for "other than outstanding warrants." you can't lump Sierra & Merrell with JD8...also please note a few things one of which is EXTREMELY important. Can you tie Sierra, Merrell, Tina, Victoria & Dorothy aka Eyvonne to the girls in JDP? The girls in JDP hung out together, two of them were related & a third a distant cousin (though never released so three related), they all associated w/this one dude...he actually said in an interview "I arranged sex & drugs for ALL these girls." Are you from JDP, because I am & I'm aware that there is a theory that there is another girl her death COULD be linked due to she & three other girls have the same "baby daddy" & he is a known dealer & pimp! The locals know a lot but won't speak! Please don't "pick @ me" or "point me out"...that just isn't fair. BTW, this thread is for Mickey or did YOU forget?!:banghead:

The biggest arguments against this would be that Mickey would be a completely different type of victim, the murders occurred in different areas, and the eight women murdered in Jennings were all recovered....bodies were left out in plain sight in some cases, in ditches or along roadsides..

That would not be accurate-
Jennings, LA March 8, 2007 - Kristen Elizabeth Gary Lopez -- The 21 year-old was missing for ten days before her body was found in the Petitjean Canal, just off of La Hwy 99 and 10 miles south of the town of Welsh. Cause of death has not been determined and/or released. Kristen Lopez was found March 8, 2007.

Jennings, LA: September 11, 2008 -Crystal Shay Benoit Zeno, is found - Crystal's body was so badly decomposed by the time it was found it would be two months before the young woman could be identified. The 24 year-old had been left in a dry canal a couple of miles southeast of Jennings

Only 3 were left on roadways, and only the last one was near a major public road. The other roads were remote gravel roads, and the drainage canals were remote.

Whether it takes 1hour or 1hr 20 to me is irrelevant. (It takes me an hour and I have no tickets, but yes- I do speed.) I don't think the 20 minutes makes a difference. I do think they're linked and probably linked with at least some of the women in Houston as well:

HOUSTON - An autopsy has revealed that a woman whose body was found in a southeast Houston field was strangled.
Invesigators found the body of Raquel Mundy at approximately 4 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of North St. Charles Street.
Witnesses told investigators that Mundy was seen entering a gray car with a male. Mundy sent a text message to her mother that said she thought she was in danger and was with a Hispanic male.

I think it's linked to Mickey's disappearance. As I mentioned, 4 corners isn't that far from St. Landry. I'm not saying she was going to get anything, I'm saying that someone crusing from there could have passed her easily- and that she would've been an easy target.

While I hope I'm wrong, and I hope she'll be found alive, I don't think so. I think she'll be found in water. I think it will be a remote location, and I think the person who took her has done it before, will do it again, and is employed in the Oilfield in a professional type position that requires travel to Houston.

Here are the LCG photos:

If we had the video or more shots we could more clearly see if the DWT turn lane truck is the same as the DWT following MS or if its the same as the one on Univ. We could also see if it passed before MS or after MS.

We would also see the old car and whether there were 2 or 3 cars at circle k. If 3 then we'd know the DWT in the turn lane is the same as the DWT heading east in the 200 block of St. Landry photo b/c the turn lane DWT has 3 cars at Circle K.

Again, I can understand LE's reasons for playing it close to the vest but this case is about to go cold. And I could give you a few stories about experiences I have had with the LPD and believe me, it would not give you confidence in them. But we've been warned not to bash LE.

I just wish that the press or the family or Abdella could persuade LE to be more forthcoming or at least to give a press conference. Anything.

These are not in the correct sequence. Mickey rides past Circle K at 1:47. The white z71 follows behind her at 1:48. Then the white trucks passes going in the opposite direction turning left presumably. Cannot quote me on this but I think it was about 5 minutes later. Does anyone know?

I've seen people say that here but I've never seen any story or press release where this has been said. And if this is the case, what about the DWT?

If the LCG photo is the last we see of MS and the last we see of the DWT (meaning neither is on the 200 block of St. Landry) then there is a very good chance the DWT is involved because it would be an extreme coincidence for both to turn on Brashear considering that is not an often traveled street.

If the DWT is seen on the 200 block of St. Landry but not MS, then it would lead to the chance that the DWT is probably not involved (unless it turned and on a later street and caught up with her).

Again, the lack of information and the lack of questioning does not help the public aid in this investigation.

It has always been my understanding that this is the last sighting of her period. I am 100% positive that LE said she made it as far as St. Landry. There are unreleased images of her on St. John.
