Sweetie, this is my educated & informed opinion: I know some of these victims' families. These aren't the same mixes of crowds, socio-economic, educated or otherwise. JD parish perp, IMO, wouldn't have needed to trawl Lafayette. MS is not the sort of girl who'd be on this radar. Of course I could be waaay off, but I'd take ALL the Lafayette posters to lunch if I am.

OK and I already said that I don't think that Ms disappearance is related to Jennings serial killings......because I read more about the Jennings 8....
BUT....
THOSE EIGHT WERE ALL LINKED TOGETHER BC OF THEIR SIMILARITIES .....WHICH MS DOESNT MATCH.....HOWEVER HOW MANY MORE ARE THERE THAT ARE UNSOLVED MURDERS OR MISSING PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN COMMITED BY SAME PERP THAT ARE NOT LINKED TO THOSE 8 BECAUSE THEY DONT SHARE THE SAME SIMILARITIES??????

And Ms case does have similarities ONE MAJOR SIMILARITY: LACK OF EVIDENCE LEFT BEHIND!

Regarding the altered pictures (beyond enhancement).

I reluctantly link to this post, and trust me I will not be reposting the picture. I disagree with it being posted in the first place for the exact reason that is happening now... the picture gets cropped or separated from the disclaimer and people think it's the real deal.

This poster altered, beyond enhancement the pic of the DWT to show what his/her eye could see. The poster added shading and an overlay of a white truck, colored in the driver, whatever.

Please don't repost this picture, it will again be cropped and accepted as the true, original LE approved image.

Read that is says this is a fantasy enhancement. That disclaimer has been cropped out in pictures I see in the last thread!!!!

You don't know that. It may appear that way and they may have but you don't know that to be a fact. Just because you don't have software to clear through some of the blur doesn't mean it isn't there. My software doesnt allow that much detail and i dont have the expertise to clarify the image. The truck was not driverless so someone was behind the wheel. Maybe this person has the expertise. Until they post what alterations they made....no one knows.

And as we all know drinking impaired decision making abilities.....add in peer pressure...environment...availability....REASONS SHE HAS TO CELEBRATE...(like herbirthday) and what do you get?


You get a very high likelihood that she experimented with drugs or made a drunken mistake or two romantically or otherwise.....

So don't tell me "don't even"...you don't even suggest that she's a saint an angel or perfect.......

Focus more on finding her or who did this to her and her family.......canonize her later.

Mickey has zero in common with the Jennings Eight. She "may" have used alcohol and pot occasionally, but the use of alcohol and drugs were not a LIFESTYLE for Mickey, as it was for the Jennings victims.

There is ZERO EVIDENCE to suggest that Mickey ever used "powder" or any hard drugs at all.

Mickey's lifestyle includes putting a premium on getting an education, she takes++ that very seriously and is dedicated to her education. Her lifestyle includes an emphasis on physical wellness, she is in excellent physical condition. Her lifestyle includes holding down a job for a lengthy period of time, and dedication to her job and her animals.

It is not canonizing Mickey to stick with the facts. And not one fact supports your supposition. Not one.

I agree with your logic, except if the bike was put there as a ruse.

The problem with the ruse theory is that the bike would have been under 2-3 feet of water if it were dumped right away, due to the river stage at the time. Someone throwing it in as a ruse would have left it visible.

On the other hand.... if the bike were dumped the night before it was found
, and it being partially out of the water after being thrown, and then discovered the next morning, it could have been a ruse.

The only way to sort this out would be to know how throughly that area was searched, and when - to determine if the searchers should have found it if it were there.

I am not convinced it was dumped the same night, though LE has said they think this is the case.

If the handlegrips were discovered detached, the bike wasn't put there as a ruse. The gold handlegrips were removed because they were easily identifiable. With the handlegrips gone, the bike looked pretty much like any other black bike.

Wait. You don't think the Jennings victims or their murderer(s) are related to Mickey's case? Then WHY are you bringing this discussion to Mickey's forum?

We DO know that! The person who posted the pictures wrote "fantasy enhancement" across the bottom of the photo. Unfortunately, those words got cropped off in some later copies of the pictures, and people didn't realize it was all a fantasy!

Do u know the story of Sierra? I live in LC & remember this story & was told by LE (I asked) if this girl has a baby daddy? She was found out in the middle of nowhere but clothed (JD8 have been found in humiliating positions & naked; LE proved that this case was NOT related to JD8...other factors I will not post, it's gruesome). The girls in the Alexandria area...3 of them have police records, in fact Brijet was wanted in a questioning of burglaries that occurred days before she disappeared. I found the rap sheet for Tina (in Mississippi & was arrested the weekend she went "missing"), the pregnant girl from Lecompte...nothing has been followed up in her, she wasn't from that area & LeCompte has a population of like 1,800...Merrell was found near Morgan City & her bf was held on questioning & last report I red was still in jail for "other than outstanding warrants." you can't lump Sierra & Merrell with JD8...also please note a few things one of which is EXTREMELY important. Can you tie Sierra, Merrell, Tina, Victoria & Dorothy aka Eyvonne to the girls in JDP? The girls in JDP hung out together, two of them were related & a third a distant cousin (though never released so three related), they all associated w/this one dude...he actually said in an interview "I arranged sex & drugs for ALL these girls." Are you from JDP, because I am & I'm aware that there is a theory that there is another girl her death COULD be linked due to she & three other girls have the same "baby daddy" & he is a known dealer & pimp! The locals know a lot but won't speak! Please don't "pick @ me" or "point me out"...that just isn't fair. BTW, this thread is for Mickey or did YOU forget?!:banghead:

I'm not picking @ you, I'm responding to comments you made. I haven't forgotten the thread is about Mickey. I'm looking into something other than photos that defy physics showing she's under the truck, and attempting logical debate.

Sierra- just a thought, thanks for letting me know she's not linked. It looked like she could be, of course LE still hasn't made an arrest, nor do they have leads. So really only she and the killer know.

I'm saying that I think she was taken, by someone who has taken other people. Someone that has a profile that indicates:

He is opportunistic and takes victims that place themselves in situations that would make them more vulnerable. That Mickey was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

That he has taken other victims, and will take more.

He's more than likely highly intelligent, and probably white.

I think he's probably linked to others- it's a matter of going through and finding which.

I think that the bike in Whiskey Bay is a decoy.

I think he lives in Lafayette or surrounding area, and works in the Oilfield. I think he's probably linked to violent sexual crimes in areas surrounding ours and I don't think this is his first time.

I think many people from Jennings are so focused on "Baby Daddy" and Pimp stories that they don't look at everything. People used to "Know" the world was flat too. Just my opionion.

How are the others linked? Targets of opportunity is how. People in areas around Lafayette, or connected through oil industry/ I-10. BTW- The people I talked about that are missing, are still listed in NAMUS and other places as missing. Are you LE that you can get the Rap sheet? I searched the people listed for updates, I didn't just link articles and I spent about a week researching it before posting it. I was really amazed at how many people turn up missing, and are never found.

BTW: Merrell- Boyfriend is out of jail- at least as of Feburary 2012.

Yes I do know that because it says so on the pictures. They also posted their alterations on later posts, go to their profile and find their posts from around the time of these postings that I linked. They overlaid a picture of a truck on the pic, they put defined hubcaps in, they colored in the driver. Some of that is ON one of the posts that I linked.... I could link each one, but I'm done digging through posts and linking things that people don't care to read.

1) None of the girls were on bikes;
2) was MS housed in JDP jail ever (no);
3) FACT: the girl in the JD8 that turned up after 10 days had been housed somewhere before she was dumped (it's been more than 10 days) & the girl so badly decomposed is to have been "pickled in a barrel/55 gallon drum) before being dumped, the reason for the extreme deposition (it's day 27...no MS)
4) there IS evidence in JD8...a lot of it (unless you're in the know or have a family member in the know) I would have believed Jaren Lockhart would have been killed by the same as JD8 (one girl was nearly decapitated & another's parts cut off too)
I can go on & on but JD8 has a page...go over there & tell them you think MS's case is "connected" & they will show you NO!

My point was that the color might highlight areas of the picture not that it should be used to track down a particular person.

Because the pictures given to the public by LE are in black and white, there is no way to tell the color of hair or clothing. Blonde hair might appear darker if in shadow and dark hair can appear lighter in bright light.

Someone, not me, posted that when the pictures were enlarged, they noticed the blue color. Since I was not able to make out anyone in the truck that looked like a real person, I left that to others.
