Are the margins blown, or am I having some sort of flashback??

I'm sorry, I'm trying to get these straight so that you can see them together.
*Also, I meant to say it doesn't look like anything is under the truck, only relection from the bright lights at the gas station.

Also, the 1st white truck in the pictures, looks different (covered bed) than the other 2??

I said that a couple threads ago.

These are 3 different white trucks.

When the pics were released and before everyone started comminting about the dwt pics, I was sure they were 3 different trucks.
I am no auto person but looks like 3 to me.

I'm not trying to manipulate any pictures, but I did use noise removal, clarify, sharper image, back lighting, only to see if anything stand out.

In these pictures, it doesn't look like anything is under the bike - only a reflection of light from the bright lights at the gas station.

Also, to me, in the picture of the dark car, I can see what looks like a person on the right hand side, and it appears he/she has a hoodie on?

If you have to delete these I understand, but thought I'd try

I am confused. It states 151 on the photo, the truck would be headed in the opposite direction by then. She was last seen on video at 148 I believe it was.?

Someone speculated that 151 was the file number. IDK
Or maybe the cameras were not in sync, timing was off on a camera.

Hey new to WS decided to join up after I came across MS on Facebook. I am from Melbourne, Australia and am totally go smacked at how many missing people there are in the USA, very sad! Aus has its missing people but we don't hear about it often. First of all I would like to send my support to the shunicks, LE, CIA and you wonderful generous people here. I am absolutely touched by your care, love and compassion for Mickey. Layafette sounds like a beautiful community despite the disappearance of Mickey. The last few days I have woken up and the first thing I do is go online to see if there is any new information or better yet Mickey has returned home safe and sound. This is such a tragedy, such a beautiful girl Mickey seems it has made me think of stupid things I myself do like Mickey a girl in her 20s walk home after a night drinking by myself stubbornly accepting lifts/company from male friends because it's only 5-10 mins and I have a habit of going running at night with head phones in something I have now stopped. Last night I had a dream about Mickey that she was singing that song " I'm coming home, I'm coming home tell the world I'm coming home" Probally my conscious wanting this but deep down I hope that I have magically become psychic overnight and it happens. I have told family and friends about mickeys case and we pray for you all of a safe return much love from Australia. Thank you for touching my heart and showing that there is still people who care in this fast past selfish world. If I ever travel to the USA I will make your beautiful town a visit:)

The original timestamp on the 1:51 photo can be found in the bottom left corner.

It shows it as being 2:03 which is a 12 minute time difference.

Just for the hell of it. Lets say IF. For conversation. Lets say she is in that truck and the bike in the back. Would he be heading the right direction to drive 27 miles to the bridge?

And could the driver have done all this in two minutes or less before heading back the opposite direction? Hit her bike with the truck, put her in it, and through the bike in the back and head back opposite direction in 2 minutes?

I think someone said that the clock on one of the surveillance cameras was off by 12 minutes?

Yes to all of the above. Straight shot on University to I-10. And if she was grabbed between Circle K and about St. Julien, then he/they had time.

Yes - possible. But I don't know which truck is which. I've given up trying to understand a long time ago.

Just a quick drop-in. Have to go to court tomorrow AM for a traffic ticket ad am preparing my defense. Trying to forget about Mickey today and take care of myself instead, but failing.

Did they "clear" him, or "identify" him?

FWIW

As per the LPD website:

UPDATE IX: Two Vehicles of Interest Ruled Out
Original Release: May 30, 2012 @ 11:00 am
Lafayette, LA – Lafayette Police have identified the operators and occupants of both the older model 4-door car and the white 4-door pickup truck with the bed cover, which were captured on surveillance video. Investigators have ruled out any involvement by these individuals and they offered no additional clues for the investigation. Investigators continue to seek information on the newer model white Z-71 pickup truck. The investigation remains ongoing.

what can I report? He was gone. He was hauling or hiding that's for sure. Even if I called my local police-- I do not live in La, there's a ton of white trucks here as well. With no plate numbers, I doubt anything of merit could be done.

Frustrating. damn white truck. I have offically banned them for sale ...

Yes, I am happy I have enough spidey sense and still am a racer at heart. I have a gun in my map bag, but TX law does not cover self defense from a bike, only from within your home- and I certainly was not taking him there so I can shoot him.

RE: He stopped and looked right at me
Labikegirl, it wouldn't be a bad idea to file a police report, just in case there has been other abductions related to this perp in the area, jmho.
glad you are safe.

Is there a link to a LEO that states what you have posted?

No -- there's no link. That's why I have stopped trying to figure out the trucks. It just goes in circles. Unless people think LE is lying or completely incompetent, or purposely wording it so that they can leave three trucks in there with slippery wording, LE said this:

I think I've disagreed with more of your posts today than I have in the entirety of the ~month I've been here. I promise I'll stop. :)

But I must say....in the wee hours of the morning, with considerable gaps between vehicles (like, say, 30-60 seconds, at times), there's plenty of time for someone to quickly hop out of his truck, retrieve the bike from the bed of a truck, and fling it over the guardrail.

I can remember being in college and...umm...maybe a little under the influence of a beverage (or twelve). And as we were traveling west to Lafayette from BR after a night out, an old classic song came on the radio. My friend who was driving (and who was also under liquid influences) thought it would be a swell idea to, you know, go ahead and stop the car RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE G*****N INTERSTATE (on the Atchafalaya bridge, to be sure) to dance.

Yeah.

We look back on it and laugh now, but 3 drunken idiots dancing on the Interstate at 3AM is just screaming "death wish". Thankfully there wasn't much traffic, so we all lived to tell the tale.

Point is, I'm fairly sure we were stopped for at least thirty, and possibly as much as sixty seconds.

(Damn you, Wild Cherry.)

I've been thinking along the lines of 2 people involved. Then it would be easy for one to ride in the pick up bed and toss the bike over the railing. Especially if Mickeys bike is as light weight as some have said.
